Question: where do you find all these great editions ? And I better not ask at what price. 😁

I'm just a huge fan of BF

When they are on their game,  no one can match them (exception being the Weet full slips)

But BF still my favourite retailer (as is the case for a lot of people)

In answer to your question..  unfortunately these editions do not come cheap these days

Hopefully the  classified section will open up soon so that MP members can buy off each other and not pay fleabay prices

Nope. Forgot to mention this small detail: Posters go on sale Wednesday, October 20th at 12PM EST

Also, check this out: Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of The Silence Of The Lambs

I think I prefer the regular version, without the ketchup 😁

Interestingly the ketchup versions are the ones that are sold out, both the screen print $95  and the red foil $175

I got the regular screen print $75

The regular print on gold foil is also available at $175

Didn't realise there were so many Lambs fans lol.

Shame no proper premium edition for this film

The WWA Steel was the most lazy bit of crap I've seen (same front and back)

The best edition was probably the Criterion edition

Apologies buddy , just catching up on this thread.

I do this all the time , especially for Weet and Manta OCs (where all contents in each edition are the same)

The advantage being, I get to select my fav edition (or two 😉 ) in the flesh (better than looking at pics)  and sell the remaining editions

I would not worry about the OC being half empty, you could always fill up with some WWA steels from Zavvi, BB for the same film

Even if the OC remains a little empty still, not to worry - you have saved 200 big ones by selling the rest!

The retailers I do not do that with is Blufans, HDz , FA Maniacs for example (each edition has different content)

So I keep each edition (but swap the steelbooks).

So for e.g. , I will keep the original WEA steelbook in my fav edition, and swap the steelbooks in the other editions for Zavvi, BB etc

No point having three identical steelbooks of the same film

The WEA steelbook itself will sell for a fair bit if sealed / mint

Another option is of course you buy one edition which you like and hunt ebay for an empty box.

Problem is you may not always get the box though, even if you do - many sellers may be selling a quarter slip or full edition with the box!

Also - you may not get the additional art cards / magnet  which accompany the exclusive OC, some sellers may remove it when selling the OC

So what you suggest my friend is perfect 👍

A2 is definitely the best slip. Though the lenticulars are pretty good this time around and the backs are very nicely done as well. I think weet might be the only retailer where the one clicks are worth it. Every edition is nice

Everyone knows fullslips are better, we just like to entertain the old folks with a bit of debate

Is it psychological do you think... because A2 has the lowest print run

So for e.g. if the print run for A1 was 200 .. would you still say A2 is the best

Perhaps not, but I feel the print run does play with our preferences a little :)
