  1. Pi and Requiem are my favorites. I watched the crap out of Pi in college, which in doing the math was a long ass time ago! I haven't really seen either movie since and don't know how well either holds up. Oh crap, the actor who plays Salamanca in Breaking Bad was the professor in Pi, wasn't he!?!
  2. This past weekend I was able to knockoff 3 films on my must-watch list: 1917 Roma Train to Busan 1917 was fantastic, loved everything about it and I think I’ll look into the bestbuy steelbook. Roma was great, definitely makes you feel something, loss, hope, strength. Green book beating Roma for best picture is a joke. I don’t know if I’ll pick up the criterion in the future. Train to Busan was entertaining enough, though it was probably overhyped for me. Some of the story elements didn’t make sense, but that’s ok. I’ll watch the sequel for sure. Probably will pass on trying to find a steel (especially since I think it’s expensive).
  3. This is exactly how I approach premiums as well. I started off with some lentis and now I just always go with the lenti. Toughest choice for me so far has been the Jackie Brown versions. Fell back on the fact that my collection is all lentis to make the decision
  4. Yesterday I watched Georgia vs Florida and Memphis vs SMU, lol. Most recent theatre watch was Terminator Dark Fate on Wednesday and I must say that I liked it. It’s no T2 or T1, but I definitely like it more than the other Terminator movies. It’s got Arnie and Hamilton and a butt load of great action. I suppose if you go into it having high expectations, you’re going to be disappointed, but it’s a fun enough movie. Home theatre-wise most recent watch was My Own Private Idaho which was amazing. leaves your heart-aching for River Phoenix’s character as well as the man himself. Can’t help but wonder what he could’ve done. Hoping to watch some criterion’s today that I picked up at B&N, Haxan and Videodrome are tops on that list. Also have some Rudy Ray Moore movies I want to watch before seeing the Netflix Dolomite movie. Also got Formula1 GP to watch and NFL.
  5. I received a PayPal invoice of $17.50 for $8.50 retailer shipping cost for spiderverse weet and $9 shipping. I’m assuming that was a typo and “spiderverse” was supposed to be “far from home”
  6. Wow! All 3 versions are fire! I’m sticking with the lenticular because my premium collection is exclusively lentis but damn are the brown and yellow slips nice.
  7. I agree, I really like the artwork and use of color. Sure it would look bad as a poster, but as a steel with one side being the front, and the other side being the back, it looks great. I really didnt care for the fishbowl version though, so to each their own.
