Top 10 Most Evil Movie Villains
Steelbook Indy replied to R1s1ngs0n's topic in Movie Ranking & Lists
There's a difference between most evil and greatest villains. Here is the most evil list: The Joker - The Dark Knight as portrayed by Heath Ledger (Best Supporting Actor win) "Do I look like a guy with a plan?" Tyler Durden - Fight Club as portrayed Brad Pitt "You're not your f$^&^*ing khakis." Anton Chigurh - No Country for Old Men as portrayed by Javier Bardem (Best Supporting Actor win) "What's the most you ever lost on a coin toss?" Hannibal Lecter - Silence of the Lambs as portrayed by Sir Anthony Hopkins (Best Actor win) "I do wish we could chat longer, but I'm having an old friend for dinner." Amon Goeth - Schindler's List as portrayed by Ralph Fiennes (Best Supporting Actor nomination) "I pardon you." Hans Gruber - Die Hard as portrayed by Alan Rickman "I am going to count to three. There will not be a four." Lord Voldemort - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 and 2 as portrayed by Ralph Fiennes "Why do you live?" Harry - In Bruges as portrayed by Ralph Fiennes "An Uzi? I'm not from South Central Los f$&&^ing Angeles. I didn't come here to shoot twenty black ten year olds in a drive by. I want a normal gun for a normal person." Frank (The Man in Black) - Once Upon a Time in the West as portrayed by Henry Fonda "People scare better when they're dyin." Little Bill Daggett - Unforgiven as portrayed by Gene Hackman (Best Supporting Actor win) "You been talking about that Queen of yours, again, Bob? <punches Bob in the face> On Independence Day?" Yes - 3 Ralph Fiennes roles. He's that good at being bad. And who would have thought that Hollywood tried to set him up as a romantic lead after Schindler's List. They should have known better. Chaos and insanity rule my list as you can see. I could not in good conscious give the following characters a top 10 slot due to them either redeeming themselves or being caricatures of what a villain should be - which both reduces the complexity with which a good villain should embody. The other factor that lowered ratings was certain villains hanging around too long in too many campy films Darth Vader Freddy Kruger Michael Myers Gollum -
You want fun? I’ve got fun for you. The gauntlet is thrown. What’s the best movie each year of your life. Post the name and some pics here and there, and let’s debate. The rules are simple. Pick only one movie for each year of your life. The movie has to have been released that year (in accordance with the IMDB listing of formal release). If you’d like an app to organize your list, Letterboxd is great. Here goes: 1972 - The Godfather (F.F. Coppola) 1973 - The Sting (Hill) 1974 - Blazing Saddles (Brooks) 1975 - Monty Python and the Holy Grail (Gilliam) 1976 - All the President’s Men (Pakula) 1977 - Star Wars (Lucas) 1978 - Invasion of the Body Snatchers (Kaufman) 1979 - Alien (Scott) 1980 - Raging Bull (Scorsese) 1981 - Raiders of the Lost Ark (Spielberg) 1982 - Blade Runner (Scott) 1983 - The Right Stuff (Kaufman) 1984 - The Terminator (Cameron) 1985 - Back to the Future (Zemeckis) 1986 - Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (Hughes) 1987 - Evil Dead 2 (Raimi) 1988 - Die Hard (McTiernan) 1989 - Glory (Zwick) 1990 - Miller’s Crossing (Coen) 1991 - JFK (Stone) 1992 - Unforgiven (Eastwood) 1993 - Schindler’s List (Spielberg) 1994 - Shawshank Redemption (Darabont) 1995 - Se7en (Fincher) 1996 - Fargo (Coen) 1997 - Gattica (Niccol) 1998 - The Big Lebowski (Coen) 1999 - The Matrix (Wachowskis) 2000 - Memento (Nolan) 2001 - Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (Jackson) 2002 - Minority Report (Spielberg) 2003 - Mystic River (Eastwood) 2004 - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Gondry) 2005 - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (Black) 2006 - Casino Royal (Campbell) 2007 - 3:10 to Yuma (Mangold) 2008 - The Hurt Locker (Bigelow) 2009 - (500) Days of Summer (Webb) 2010 - Inception (Nolan) 2011 - Crazy Stupid Love (Ficcara & Requa) 2012 - Lincoln (Spielberg) 2013 - Snowpiercer (Bong) 2014 - Predestination (Spierig) 2015 - The Big Short (McKay) 2016 - La La Land (Chazelle) 2017 - Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri (McDonagh) 2018 - BlacKkKlansman (Lee) 2019 - Jojo Rabbit (Waititi) 2020 - Sound of Metal (Marder) 2021 - Spider-man: No Way Home (Watts) Most represented directors: Steven Spielberg - 4 Joel Coen - 3 Clint Eastwood - 2 Philip Kaufman - 2 Christopher Nolan - 2 Ridley Scott - 2

Media Psychos Plain Archive Award
Steelbook Indy replied to extantsrevenge's topic in Retailer Collection Awards
What can I say about Plain Archive? They have great stuff, and I love their customer service and amaray releases. I bought The Wrestler, Melancholia and Blue Is the Warmest color blind and direct from their site. I feel that I’m one of the earliest supporters and still grab interesting things. Hope that you enjoy this collection. -

Here are my KimChiDVD. This is the first premium company that I experienced - purchasing Leon off of eBay. I loved when I was able to order Eternal Sunshine and Memento direct from the website. I really adore KimChi releases. I hope you enjoy my collection. -
