This desperately needs to be picked up by another channel/outlet for a 5th (Final) Season to complete all the storylines (though I firmly believe you can skip over all of Season 2!)

I would like to buy it to watch it at home with more people, but for that I need Spanish subtitles, and it only has them in seasons 1-3.

 

I don't understand very well this criterion of some distributors, at this stage of the market. 

 

The old market of making an edition in each country has fallen, at most it is supported in very few places. The most profitable thing to do is to make an edition that includes at least subtitles in the most spoken languages of the world. 600 million people is not a bad potential market. 

 

And if whoever distributes it is the production company itself, the subtitles -and even the dubbing tracks- exist and are theirs, then I understand it even less. 

 

I smell an experiment in some countries to try to get people to pay for their platforms for good.

 

Anyway, maybe I'll buy it anyway when I can, but it's not the same, nor are they going to sell the same by leaving a season out. It already happened with "The Office" and Universal, the series that generates the most streaming traffic in the world, and only included Spanish subtitles in the first seasons. And in this case, even if you speak English, being jokes and colloquial language,... if you have never lived in a country where English is spoken sometimes you need a support, a help. And both audio and subtitles exist, but they didn't include them either. Conclusion: less sales. 

 

Yet there's something worse than all this: that they cancelled Westworld. I wanted more! 

 

And that's a series that went a little crazy, but I liked that freedom and the risks they took; I like surprises. 

 

In a way, it reminded me of "Person of Interest" where it started out as one type of series, very typical and ended up evolving to another place, even better where it started. But they had time to do that.
