Crescendo House is a new boutique distribution company that aims to reinvigorate the American film landscape with a new model for distribution.

The current framework often fails those works that defy easy categorization. International films, no matter their entertainment value or star power, are often left to struggle in this environment.

CrH will initiate the life of a film with a limited edition, collector's home video run. Each carefully curated film will feature unique artwork, packaging, and hours of special features in an effort to celebrate the value each film contains as a distinct work of art. This initial HV run will help us better fund and solidify wider, more film-specific theatrical and VOD strategies.

Our goal is to expand the mainstream visibility of international or otherwise underrepresented films in order to provide viewers with an array of choices that more accurately reflects the diverse world we inhabit.

As film lovers, we cherish the thrill that accompanies seeing something unique and unlike anything else. We hope that you experience the same excitement with our slate of films.

Whilst I of course, wish them the very best in their efforts, that is a rather bizarre selection of films to initiate production, I'd suggest;

 

- a strange but intriguing time-jump of Japanese characters in Hiroshima ( Obayashi's swan song)

- A Russian vampire comedy, and

- a Korean love trifecta melodrama

 

Could be quite interesting to see what they bring to the packaging of such films. 😀
