That's not entirely true. It's just much easier to communicate in one's mother tongue because almost nobody here speaks fluent English.

The Last Wish, Sword of Destiny, Blood of Elves, Time of Contempt, Baptism of Fire, The Swallow’s Tower, Lady of the Lake, Season of Storms. First two books are basically prequels filled with short stories.

Yes this is the correct order, unfortunately I don't know the cheapest option for you 😓 maybe a used bookstore or if you like them as ebooks they should be available at every major retailer
