Is This Film Worth My Time?

Mmmm I've not seen coma or any of the movies on this thread so the only way I can contribute is by asking about a few films I've held back on. But speaking of Russian movies theres a new one called Sputnik.

 

So has anyone seen this one and what did you think also here are two more I just haven't watched for some reason

I'm quite excited about Sputnik and am looking forward to picking it up on Blu when released.

I've seen one short trailer that was happily, spoiler free and I think it will be a good watch.

Heh, the title holds a bit of a nostalgia vibe for me. Sputnik was launched very shortly after my birth and my Nanny in Belgium called me "her little Sputnik"  🤗

 

"Sunshine", I'd give my highest recommendation for! An absolutely astounding Sci-Fi that takes a very bizarre (and not well applauded) twist near the end but every other factor about the film is incredible.

Great cast, solid acting, excellent storyline (well, 90%) great direction, jaw-dropping spec FX and a beautiful OST. Yeah, get that... (there's a Steel out in the wild as well that I find quite lovely).

 

I have not seen "The Old Man &The Gun" but Redford is usually pretty picky toward his scripts, so may be something I track for as well. 🙂
