Hello to all the Psychos

I am Marius, 33 years old, married and father with 1 daughter.

I am a native of beautiful Lower Saxony. Due to my job, I (unfortunately ins) ended up in the Rhineland.



I have been collecting the last signs of life since the VHS.

DVD's, Blu-Ray's, Steelbook's ..... Everything finds a place with me.

In addition to my love of collecting films, I also fell in love with video games (which was many years earlier)

There are also beautiful collector's editions and one or two retro pieces. Both games and consoles.



OVP or open?

It's one of those things for me. There are many pieces in my collection that remain in their original packaging and are only handled with white velvet gloves. And as many of you probably know, there really is 😅

Again, there are enough games, steel books that I also carefully open to have a little more.



Actually I wanted to stay with the films at Steelbooks, but little by little I have come across some premium editions.

You have to say that there are really delicious parts. 😍

So at the beginning I had increasingly put the focus on the edition of ZAVVI and ordered it there more often.

But since I really want to play upstairs and order individual items. B. at kimchi, film arena etc. is sometimes too expensive, I went looking for like-minded people.



And what should I say? After a short time I found what I was looking for here at the Psychos.

First I flew below the radar for a few days and read and informed myself in many subject areas.



What I really really like is the correct and mega friendly cooperation here. 👍🏼🇩🇪🇬🇧🙏🏼

That's why I decided here for a somewhat more detailed presentation.



I've already made the first GB.

Frozen 2 double lenticular had to be. My daughter will literally adore the showcase. I already know that 🤣



In this sense ..... I am looking forward to being part of the community and looking forward to many interesting discussions and a lively exchange. Not to mention enlarging my film collection.

Yeah, I hear you, I’m a collector too that started w/Best Buy/Target exclusives that really got me into the Premium editions (I started way back though  & gradually upgraded from VHS to DVD to BD to 4K oh my 🤣). then I was fortunate to find out about this terrific forum MP from another forum I followed & MP took over my #1 place since March ‘19 hey 👋 

 

 

I’m who is referred to as the “consigliere” on MP as I enjoy communicating with all the peeps and I’m the Ol’ American guy lol!😄
