I’m talking about in terms of printed material and inserts. Many of these have multiple books (more substantial than simple booklets). I know I don’t collect these WCL titles for the discs themselves, you can get the same video content in any of the less expensive releases.

Here are some other recent ones I picked up—Blade Runner 2049 UHD Club to go with the first film and graphic comic anthology: plus a Grail acquisition in the form of Alien Covenant Filmarena Maniacs and the new highly-desirable 2001: A Space Odyssey Manta Lab one-click—yowza! incidentally, one of the things I really like about the Maniacs box is the different printed inserts, booklets, cards, and postcards you get for each slip and steelbook. My only gripe about Manta is you get the same stuff in every slip and steelbook in a one-click. Happy weekend to everyone!

I used to read German very well (had to pass "German for Reading Knowledge" in my Ph.D. program), but it has been 28 years since I've done so on a regular basis. My conversational Deutsch is very limited.... Ich kann nicht so gut Deutsch sprechen!

While one might quibble with the "look" of WCL editions, in terms of content, it's a SLAM DUNK. They arguably do it better than every other company!

I just went through that with 1923 on Paramount+! Total waste of almost 8 hours, the plot points went NOWHERE in the course of 8 episodes. So far it is nowhere near as good as 1883 was last Spring. -
