  1. Morning mate @Robertm89 Yeah, it’s def a day for Movies! 😁 I think I’m going to a 4pm showing, which gives me plenty of time to watch something else tonight 😆 I watched Rim of the World on Netflix this week. Total kids film and takes plots from other movies, but seeing as I know you like your monsters, it may be worth a watch if you’re ever really stuck mate. It’s not great at all, but it’s watchable at least 😂 With regards to the critics reviews, they slated Venom but it wasn’t that bad?! Sure it will be entertaining, though I am also sure it will confuse us all further with the Xmen timelines 😂
  2. Morning English Room ☕️ Hope you have a good weekend. Lots of rain forecast in the east, so off to see Dark Phoenix this afternoon.
  3. Now That is Class! 😁 Watched it with my boys as soon as my WeET arrived, and we all really enjoyed it. I mayyyyyyy have brainwashed them slightly with Spidey 😂
  4. Why do you think they are up for sale mate 😆 My boys love SW but then they also love Spongebob soooooooo...... pretty sure their view isn’t valid yet 😂
  5. Thinking about parting with my Zavvi Star Wars steels, and upon some research on the bay of e, it’s damn near impossible to determine their value! 😂 The auctions are so low (but with days to go) and the buy it News are obscene 😳 I hate valuing steelbooks 🙈
  6. I know, it’s been fantastic from start to finish. I agree about its a shame it’s ending, but sometimes this is the best outcome. Would hate for it to drag on and become worn out. I love the fact each season is about 8 episodes. Perhaps the writers/creators will bring us something new & equally cool 🤞🏼😁
  7. I 2nd that opinion! So much so than mine is open and lives on a display stand 😁 Still wonder if WeET will fulfill my dreams with a WEA IM Fullslip (🤞🏼🥺) But until that day, This is THE one. 😆👌🏼
  8. Couldn’t agree more. The bigger and badder the monster, the better 😁
  9. I am certainly interested in Godzilla @Veum although I may wait until Steelbook release to watch it... unless I hear lots of good views from fellow Psychos who go to see it. I don’t mind a CGI fest @Robertm89 so sure I will enjoy it. I rather enjoyed a Rampage. Love Monster Movie me 😁👍🏼
  10. I've said it before and I'll say it again.... This is why DC play 2nd fiddle to Marvel in the world of cinema. Constantly changing the cast and storylines. Zero continueity, Big performances are extremely rare and few and far between, and yet they insist on constantly churning them out in the hope they can get it right. They should wrap up the whole Justice League disaster, leave it a few years, and then come back fresh with a decent re-boot, and already have thier cast preppred and signed up to take it to new levels. All I see is failure. Gotham the series has been more entertaining than the JL right now (IMO), and that's shocking to realise!
  11. Its official... Just like Hip Hop, Batman is Dead. 💀 Will watch the movie, Hope I am wrong..... but I doubt it.
  12. That King Kong does look Amazeballs @Robertm89 😃 I kept looking at this, as one of only 4 dvds I have to replace (that currently has Steelbooks available) but thought it was too pricey... might live to regret it... 🙈
  13. @Basil This has to be your call doesn’t it? 😁 I have to agree with @RileyLad that I haven’t seen mats that fit as well as this, though I would question the pop fasteners? Not sure if they fasten to one another and not the car? Never seen a car with fasteners, but that’s not to say they don’t exist! 😆 If you’re twisting my arm into a decision, Personally I wouldn’t bother. Not unless your car comes with little slippers and a red carpet for all passengers 😂 Cleaning the grit out of all those linings would drive me potty. I’d do it Once, and then I’d be pulling them out & whacking them against a wall as I do with my current mats. That said.... my mates tell me the same about buying Steelbooks. “Why would you spend £50 on a movie that’s on Netflix? That’s just Mental” So I will restate.... This has to be your call doesn’t it?! 😁👍🏼 Ps. Best mats I ever had were home made metal chequer plates that I cut and bent to shape. The reason I did it was because I had leds under the foot wells that reflected across the floor and made the mats glow. But practically, I just took them out and sprayed them. Simples 😁
  14. Superb @RileyLad 😂 I saw a sketch on The Big Narstie Show where they used the infamous Taken phone call scene, and I was in tears at what the did with it, 🤣 but I couldn’t find in online to post here. 🙃
  15. For the Ladies... again, off the top of my head, Naomi Watts - King Kong Emma Stone - Amazing Spider-Man 2 (Not seen La La Land, but hear she’s excellent in that also) Charlize Theron - Monster Sigourney Weaver - Alien Franchise Julia Roberts - Erin Brockovic/Pretty Woman Helen Mirren - The Queen Queen Latifah, Jada Pickett, Vivica Fox & Kinberly Elise - Set it off
  16. Wow this is a tough one. I feel like I need at least a week on this and know that my answers will change, but... Off the top of my head, in no particular order.... Michael Keaton - Beetlejuice/Birdman Johnny Depp - Pirates of the Caribbean (When it was still fresh and new to us) Micheal Sheen - The Damned United Andy Serkis - King Kong/Lord of the Rings Christopher Walken - 7 Psychopaths (Among many) Benedict Cumberbatch - Star Trek Into Darkness Heath Ledger - The Dark Knight Christopher Lloyd - Back to the Future Trilogy Jamie Fox - Django Robert DJ - Tropic Thunder (An American playing an Australian playing an Afro American?! Genius! 😂
  17. I kind of agree, but love him in Tropic Thunder! 😆
  18. @Robertm89 😂😂😂😂 Love this! Ironically, only last week I discussing how I cannot recall ever seeing a single Gerard Butler movie!! He clearly takes roles in stuff that holds no interest for me. BUT, having just read @RileyLad post, I know that I have seen Rock n Rolla. Can’t recall him though 😂 Ok... so my cringe fest is none other than Liam Neeson. Cannot stand watching him playing hard man roles. I do not find him believable AT ALL. he pops up in every damn thing, and yet his most convincing role is Love Actually!!
  19. Thats the thing, I’m not much of a Star Wars fan either! I thought the Force Awakens Just fell apart after 30mins, but then I didn’t have high hopes for it in the first place. I was so pleasantly by surprised Rogue One, that I stupidly allowed my expectations to rise for the Last Jedi! 😂😂 I’d also agree Capt. Marvel was fun. I’ll watch it again for sure, being such a staunch Marvel head, but they just rushed the whole “Look how powerful I am” part at the end. It all got a bit silly for me.
  20. Hmmmmm... Good subject @Robertm89 The Last Jedi is def a contender, but mainly because I enjoyed Rogue One so had high hopes it would naturally follow in the same vein. Another would be Batman Vs. Superman, but the latest movie for me (Which I did still enjoy) that I had high hopes for was Captain Marvel. It completely dive bombed at the end. Also didn’t like the cameo in End Game either..... She can only better.... right? 🤞🏼😆
