  1. Katana has a protector for CMA GOONIES. They will probably have one for this edition too. If not, they will make one custom if you send the dimensions. http://katanacollectibles.com/box-protector-for-the-goonies-cinemuseum-box-set/
  2. Believe it or not, I have heard people say that they won't watch old films because the people are dead now, and its creepy to them. 🤣
  3. Ebay about to bombarded with people looking for this steelbook:
  4. Well, that would be great. First I am hearing about a possible change.... I have no issues with things directely realated to the films. (Booklet inside). I just don't care much for things like Mugs and stationary. (Remember the FA John Wick shoebox that came with all that?). UHD Club have been on fire lately, so maybe the change you speak of will be a great improvement. i hope the final product is nice, and I don't flip stuff, so.... - But, if anyone wants a Jaws coin.....😜
  5. Well, it was a blind buy. I know there are quite a few like myself who are pretty disappointed with this one. unfortunately, sometimes you have to make a decision before you see what you are buying.
  6. I'm not sure why I get stationary and coffee cups when I want a special edition of a movie. what does a coin have to do with Jaws? Do they have a deal with the Franklin Mint? what next? Constantine special edition with Hummel figurine? -and poopy head is kind of harsh! 😆
  7. I would give a giant Jaws $1 silver coin if they would fix the artwork.....and not worry about a freaking giant coin. (we are MOVIE collectors, not coin collectors).
  8. Go! Go watch it now, man!! 😆 btw- there is also a 3D version (if that is up your alley).👍
  9. You know that this You know this is a movie from 10 years ago, right?! you can watch it now.
  10. Aka Judge Dee - also a few more adaptations: Judge Dee has been adapted for television twice in English. In 1969, Howard Baker produced six Judge Dee stories for Granada Television. These episodes were in black and white and were not a ratings success. English actor Michael Goodliffe portrayed the Judge. In 1974, Gerald Isenberg adapted the novel The Haunted Monastery into a television movie, titled Judge Dee and the Monastery Murders. It starred Khigh Dhiegh as Judge Dee. With the exception of the star (who generally played East Asian roles but was of English and North African descent), the movie had an all-Asian cast, including Mako, Soon-Tek Oh, Keye Luke, and James Hong. The writing was credited to Nicholas Meyer and Robert van Gulik. It was nominated for an Edgar Award, for Best Television Feature or Miniseries in 1975.
  11. What happened to the pics? Kinda curious what people are going on about with different box art.
  12. The one thing missing from this set: the movie GRINDHOUSE.🤣
  13. You CAN'T see 8K unless you have a screen that's 160" or bigger. (Or unless you are sitting 2 feet from the screen). 8K is great for a movie theater. but 8K is a scam for home theater. this is actual science - not an opinion. (on a 50" 8K screen you would need to be watching two feet from the screen to see the 8K resolution) the Higher that resolution number gets - the bigger the screen you need to SEE that resolution.
  14. 4K isn't a format. It's a resolution. Those disc are just blu ray discs with more space. the format is blu ray. And it's not going the way of laserdisc. Laserdisc was usurped by a format that was better. There is currently no format better than 4K blu ray.
