@deckard99- Since both can be ordered through Amazon.fr and FNAC maybe you shouldn't go through any trouble with the Plaion site with these. I was concerned about the French title on the spine of CUTTHROAT (the Plaion German version was English)- but rumor is the French will be in English and that spine is just for the mock-up. Thank you for looking into doing that, though! Much appreciated. (And I'm sure at some point soon there will be more PLAION titles that we WILL need a GB for!)

I agree with @larson1977. I, too, am done with RARO. I am convinced that the low printrun is because you can only make so many of these, with two guys in a basement! It should be worth no more than $100 (We paid $350+). crappy boxes filled with amarays you can buy on Amazon.it for 9.99 right now. I was hoping the subpar job on DEVIL'S ADVOCATE was just growing pains. It isn't. This is just a case (my opinion, of course) of repackaging existing materials (the aforementioned 9.99 amarays) as cheaply as possible- and selling them as premium editions. In all my years of collecting- this is easily the biggest waste of money I have ever experienced.

YesAsia Has two different gateways- one takes orders from the west and one does not. Usually it will say at the top of the webpage if you are on the version of the site that does not ship to U.S.- then prompts you to switch to the U.S. - friendly version. the prices change accordingly when you switch

👍 It's $83 total shipped.

Don't get me wrong- they have made some terrific packages: 2001, Heat, Paris Texas spring to mind. But they also have had some pretty bad ones (artwork-wise) like Carlito's Way, The Sting, and The Thing. Don't get me wrong, they do some fantastic stuff- just sometimes the art choices leave me scratching my head. I still regret blind buying The Sting, as the artwork is just not representative of the film (imo). My Wcl of Wild at Heart is serviceable at best. However, I love my editions of 2001, Paris Texas, Heat. I suppose it's just a little shocking when they do really great editions like 2001, and then do something like The Sting box set. (Almost like they have an "A" team and a "B" team). i always have high hopes when WCL does something. But, you never know if it will be like 2001 (chef's kiss), or like the John Waters box (not great art, there). I guess that comes down to art choices (which of course, are subjective)---like, I find Citizen Kane, and Roman Holiday pretty blah. Titles on boxes. Whereas 2001 was an instant classic release. No label is perfect, of course- and perhaps my earlier statement was overly (and perhaps, unjustly) harsh.... Maybe it was my disappointment over the last few choices of artwork. But, it is true that for every release they have that is stellar, their have been a few that made me regret it. But, this certainly true of other labels as well- and they can't ALL be winners. And it doesn't help that a lot of the time the in-hand inspection is the only way to know for sure. (I still am not sure if I am missing out by not getting the Clouzot box- but it looks very plain- but in-hand maybe it's geat? Dunno). I like WCL- but maybe it's because their good ones are so good, that the not-so-good ones feel like such a let down. *Field of Dreams is a head scratcher. It is literally an image of some random field.

Not to qibble- but you get an amaray, an extra DVD (lol), and a booklet. How is that a slam dunk on content?

Fair enough. Different strokes for different folks. If it is satisfying collectors- the more the merrier.

My opinion on WCL stands. Yikes. occasionally, they'll make a good one… But mostly they are yikes.
