Great start om the Disney's! Love seeing someone else who couldn't resist all 3 Kimchi Incredibles 🙌🏻 Awards usually go out in one big sweep once or twice a week. He will catch this on the next pass for sure. -
I do love the artwork on the new ones but the framing is off to me. Looks like a sticker of the poster artwork was thrown on the case rather than it being designed specifically for the steelbook. But like that's keeping me from buying them all up one bit 😅 I'll get my pretty artwork fix from all the slipcases and extras!

I had my reservations early on with some of the CGI and artistic choices, but this is looking better and better to me with each teaser.

Awesome thanks! I do wish they were taller but might have to grab them regardless just because they're so sweet and seem about the best quality I've seen.

I think I eyed that option. Are they actually fairly heavy? How tall are they? Would love to find a pair that actually sit as tall as the books. So many I find are such shorties which is underwhelming for what they are modeled after lol. If those are the best option though I'm going to have to hunt them down!

Love your collection! Making me want to add the rest of those slipcover editions of the books to my own. I only have Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales so far from those but they are so quality. Where did you get the Argonath bookends? I've eyed several versions for myself but keep running into reviews about very questionable quality.

Been lusting after this award for awhile! But pulling all these from the shelves for a photo was daunting. A recent move forced the whole collection to come down though and finally gave me the opportunity. So thrilled to join my fellow pretty princesses here 💖👑 My tribute to the mouse!

Finally posting my collection here. Took 3 months for the correct Children of Hurin edition to come in after one vendor sent the wrong copy then strung me along for weeks until I grabbed it somewhere else. SO many more editions I'd love to get my hands on, but I'm pretty pleased with these! And can't wait to add those gold label LOTR boxes to the shelf!

I'm still trying to decide myself. Beautiful film as per usual for A24. The storytelling was where I felt let down. A lot of vagueness behind motivations and relationships. Felt like they assume you're familiar with the legend, or really wanted you to fill in the blanks for yourself. It was like leaping from "this happened" and then "this happened" rather than feeling the plot developed. Cinematography, acting, and everything else lined up. Was at the very least an interesting/intriguing watch.

I've been hunting awhile for a poster(s) to top off my Tolkien shrine. This is by far one of the best I've seen from the franchise! Might have to search for it myself 👀 And congrats on your sliver labels!

I dont unserstand why Scarecrow always seems to be left out of the artwork while Joker and Bane get featured for their films.

RIGHT?? All these older batman titles have been getting the shaft on artwork for their steels So many good options but we keep seeing this almost 90s clip art style nonsense for some reason.

I gotta agree. If I saw that artwork without the title there is no way I'd think Watchmen.

Thank you kindly! Easily the grail of my own collection. Landing on that final list for LOTR and Hobbit as a regular member was dang near one of the happiest days of... well not my life, but at least that whole year 😄 Made an MP lifer out of me and convinced me to go tiered! Huge Tolkien fan so better believe I camped that gold GB too and will be double dipping when they finally happen. -
Oh, you noticed that huh? 😅 Was so thrilled to see that GB pop up after chasing the HDZeta for so long! But when I finally found this OC there was just no substitute. Also no way I'd be skipping that Broad Nation release regardless 😛 My collection is no stranger to double, triple, or some sextupple dipping haha. But this will be my first double up on an OC. Can't wait!

@F.M.S, that is way too hard an act to follow! Amazing collection 🙌🏻 After submitting for Marvel to be my 1st award, HDZeta had to be my #2. I believe with special packs this puts me up to 36. It isn't nearly enough. I want them all. But thrilled to have what I do. Marty wouldn't take his sunglasses off for the photo so he got stuck off on his own.

Wait, you guys are working? I've just made camping out on MP for new steels my full time gig. -
We are getting a closer look at the lives of the elves which are the more beautiful "fairer" race I suppose... so I can shrug off the model-esque casting for now. I just want a more believable dark and medieval fantasy world, not a romance novel. I have to say I've rewatched it a few times now and felt better about it each time. Hopefully that's not just some kind of Stockholm syndrome at play 😅

I completely agree. Some scenes really looked epic, and others far too polished like straight out of a soap opera. I hope this doesn't end up feeling like a show on The CW.
