  1. Sad I missed that Catwoman recently but snagged this one. Thanks!! ❤️
  2. The One Click will contain all the different editions, each with their own copy of the steelbook. They are a decently weighted box that the steelbook and any other goodies (art books, character cards, etc) slip into. And yes, the lenticular editions are the shifting image cards used as the artwork on the front. A double lenticular will have that style on both the front and back of the slip case.
  3. I definitely prefer Cornbuster's 3rd option. Blends so much better with the artwork and fits the color theme of the other 2 better as well. I'm hoping they take the feedback and update.
  4. Grats on the first GB! Hit that follow button in the club topics once you join (especially payment timeline) and just keep an eye on notifications, you'll be golden 🙌🏻
  5. Challenge 14: Favorite animal... armadillo lizards are pretty dang cool just because they look so pretty dang cool. I mean Google it. Who doesn't love a mini dragon?? Pretty dang cool if you ask me. 1. Bear - Brother Bear 2. Camel - Lawrence of Arabia 3. Squirrel - Hot Tub Time Machine 4. Dog - John Wick 3 Novamedia 5. Ape thing - Evolution
  6. Challenge #12 (amended!) So after browsing more posts for this week's challenge I realized the instructions were 3 movies from 3 different directors EACH. Should have known it wouldn't be that easy. I spent the past 2 weeks in the Carriebean so i blame my sun-friend brain for this one. Here is my fixed post before time runs out and daddy @extantsrevenge comes around to yell at my failures. 🥺 1. Peter Jackson - Simply for giving us the trilogy in about as flawless and timeless a form as it could have been (imo). And because Tolkien is love, LOTR is life 💚 2. Denis Villeneuve - I'm just loving his style so far and always look forward to seeing what's next. 3. Tarantino - Not much needing to be said here. Seems to be a very popular one this challenge!
  7. Challenge #12 I've never been particularly loyal to any directors. Everyone has hits and misses. But here's a list of some that probably fall near the top. 1. Peter Jackson - Simply for giving us the trilogy in about as flawless and timeless a form as it could have been (imo). 2. Denis Villeneuve - I'm just loving his style so far and always look forward to seeing what's next. 3. Tarantino - Not much needing to be said here.
  8. Already my approach haha. I was 50/50 but hell if I'm not buying The Matrix of all movies!
  9. Challenge #10 Sneaking this one in just before heading out on vacation tonight. See you all in 2 weeks! Favorite hero weapon probably has to be Luke's lightsaber. Im sure part of it was the age I first saw those movies, but just don't know the last time I reacted that way to the introduction of a weapon in any universe. So much awe and reverence is given to the lightsabers all through the franchise. They are almost their own characters within those movies which is so unique. Favorite baddy weapon is going to the Zorg ZF-1... 1. Mjolnir 2. Assorted Guardians weapons 3. Assorted Wakanda weapons 4. Holy Shotgun 5. Not sure which is more deadly, the giant gun, or Michelle Rodriguez with that sucker
  10. Challenge #8 Nothing fancy for my organization. All alphabetical except for a few exceptions. Disney and Marvel both have their own sections, and I group together a few like the Tarantino and Miyazaki films. Red: Dredd - Mondo Orange: Blade Runner 2049 - FAC Yellow: Evolution Green: Robin Hood - Zavvi Pale Blue: The Fifth Element - Novamedia Purple: Hunchback of Notre Dame - Zavvi Pink: Grease
  11. Challenge #7 ... coming in last minute again, but it is still Sunday night here! While I do love a good creepy/horror movie it isn't my go to genre for collecting, so sadly don't have much new to throw in the ring from what everyone else has already posted. But I want my points dang it! So here are my few favs from my collection that do fit. First creepy experience for me was probably staying up late waaay too early in my childhood watching X-Files, but for a movie the one that left a lasting impression was probably Chucky. Watched the original when I was in maybe 2nd or 3rd grade after my friend's older brother had rented it and left it out for us to find, having walked home from school before anybody else was there yet to stop us watching. We had each other convinced we were seeing creepy dolls following us around for months after that!
  12. After seeing some of the others in here with longer usernames, I really think those with the 3 to 4~ letters need to spell out their username PLUS the entire title of each movie in their name, with totally different movies. For fairness sake, and maybe a little spite. 😆
  13. Challenge #6: Another good one! Been so curious about a few of the usernames on here. 👀 a Alien - Filmarena n Nightcrawler - Mondo t True Romance - Arrow Video i I Am Legend - HDZeta a Apocalypse Now - Novamedia p Pan's Labyrinth - Mondo a Atomic Blonde - KimchiDVD t Thor - Blufans h How the Grinch Stole Christmas - CM e Edge of Tomorrow - HDZeta t Thor Ragnarok - WeET i Interstellar - HDZeta c Constantine - Manta Lab I've been using the same sn since freshman year of high school. Apathy came up as a term in civics class and I've always tried to base my life around empathy... so it struck a chord with me. No idea where I first used it but being young, optimistic, and far less cynical at the time, it stuck. I've mulled over others for awhile now, something a bit more comical, but every time a new login screen pops up it seems so much easier to use what's familiar rather than juggle even more names across even more sites. I'm much more laid back and not as serious as the name implies! 🙃
  14. Challenge #5 - This was a fun one! Had to dig into old order confirmations and my PP account to see which were actually my firsts. I went 0-100 real quick on the premium collection. This $#*! is addicting yo! 1. First ever premium order actually stemmed from my second ever (there is order to this logic eventually). I had previously bought the Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2 steels (along with Gladiator) from Best Buy. My very first ever of the steelbook variety. After getting sucked into collecting them from that point on I started to wonder what else was out there for Tarantino. My search turned up all those amazing premium editions, but also premiums as a thing in general. These 2 were the very first I could not resist from the rabbit hole I was about to plunge down. 2. Why was my first premium not Tarantino when that search is what led me to premiums in the first place?? Because I was struggling hard on which editions to choose (only 1 of each... at the time 😬), as well as digging deep into my soul (and wallet 💸) to determine if this was really a hobby I wanted to invest in more seriously and hook myself on. So with editions finally chosen, I give you my 2nd ever order and the result of my first Covid stimulus check... 3. I'm a sucker for musicals and this is a shared favorite of both the girlfriend and me, so snagged this one shortly after the first two to help try and justify the new hobby and "investments" to her... plus it's just dang pretty! 4 and 5, and the very first of the MP group buys... I wasn't sure how to choose. I was originally led to MP when I decided to jump on a premium Marvel collection (VERY late in the game) and wanted to check out both what MP was all about after the little I'd heard and to try and get myself into the Endgame GB. That journey led me to Cinemuseum and their release of The Goonies while waiting on the Endgame GB to open. So... 4. Very first MP GB joined. 5. But, very first MP premium paid for and received (cause you know... CM wait times be like *taps watch). Honorable mention to CM The Grinch. Actually my 2nd ever MP GB joined, but that thing didn't release until forever and a day later ⏱️🥀
  15. Coming in a little late with challenge #4 after getting back from some time camping. Decided to go with a bit of a theme here... 1. Trolly/Baymax himself 2. Moana's Raft 3. Bubbles of the future 4. Flying space ship 5. Toon car
  16. #3 for me, because it's just too funny... The "You've got red on you." red pen from EverythingBlu's Shaun of the Dead. #2 stop using inappropriate language Wagon keychain included with the Novamedia Kill Bill Vol. 1 OC. Had to fight my girlfriend off from stealing this from me and bought her own to keep it safe (just the keychain not the whole OC cause ouchie this one was pricey to get)! #1 has to be the amazing foil art print courtesy of MP that came as a bonus with the HDZeta TDK motherbox. Sorry for disappointing pics. I don't have a display home for it yet and pulling it out of that box is a b***. Still so pretty though 😍
  17. As much as I love quality depth and clarity on a lenti, there's something special about a scene change that can tell a story about the movie. I don't have nearly as many of that variety, but here are a few favs I do have. Tried to go with some I haven't seen posted yet.
  18. Throwing my reply into a spoiler just in case... And that's all I have to say about that.
