It's quite typical PR speak to be honest. A new transfer for T2 would be a big deal, not something they'd silently push out with a new steel without fanfare. Maybe if a smaller distributor would do it, but I doubt it - too expensive license wise I suspect.

Shame! T2 deserves much better.

Huh, that's the first I've heard or seen of a new transfer. Would've thought Studio Canal would've been in on it as well considering.

Edit; Had a looksee and it's the same old transfer, move along now there's nothing to see here.

The complete package seems pretty cool, unfortunately I think I'll stick to the Diskino edition of the 2019 version.

@ncraftGorgeous! I'm painfully regretting not picking up the Alien Maniacs box before COVID hit when it was still hovering around ~$400 if I remember correctly. Maybe I'll treat myself for christmas or something if one pops up

The GB list is 44 currently, so 1 left 😉. To be honest I wished they didn't do separate numbering for China and International, but it's their choice even though I don't get it.

The first 30 minutes or so of the first installment is pretty nice  as far as I remember, they only go downhill from there. 

I won't lie - that is pretty stunning art (TBD) for a TDK motherbox.

It's been awhile, but the whole book comes off as a story he figured out so he could namedrop as much as possible - didn't sit right with me. Does make for what must have been a pretty substantial payment toward different IP holders for the movie though, because hot damn there a LOT of different IPs flashing by in it.

I think it's a good thing they do something different than everybody else though, both in terms of titles and editions. Steelbooks aren't the end all, be all for me - they're nice, but so is a good digipak and to be honest I prefer the latter, even if some people would probably bite my head off if they ever got a chance
Yes, my Marvel quips earlier was part bait, but also a jab at the state of things - everybody seemingly wants in on supercash () stuff which I can totally understand from a economical standpoint, but it gets tiresome. So MAG willing to do something different I'm totally onboard with, but hey - opinions are like assholes, everybodys got one 🤣

Anyway, bring it MAG - my body is ready!
