It's only an opinion! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all of that. I'm sure there are loads of people who think we're insane spending money on steelbooks full-stop. If this set looks good to you and is worth it to you, then that's all that matters! I'm sure there are many people on this forum who would look at my collection and think I'm crazy for what I love and buy 😄

I don't want to put anyone off buying something that they like--my opinion isn't worthwhile anyway 😂

Exactly. Essentially the extra goodies are mostly low quality for such a hefty premium over and above the standard Steelbook set on its lonesome.

Particularly the Amazon U.K. set at £90 compared to the Zavvi set with the same Steelbooks for only £57.

So please forgive me for asking what I assume is a very stupid question, but do we know for sure this has steelbooks? Additionally, I can confirm I have requested 2x SCF11 protectors on purpose (1 for this, 1 for the Forrest Gump)

Please forgive me for making you repeat yourself, I was just paranoid about doing this wrong. I'll make sure that the "worst case scenario" is that I make too many requests of King Kong and Pitch Black. Without multiple copies of each, how else am I going to show off the cover art and the internal art at the same time? 😂

Also, please remember you have to request your edition withing 48 hours after the GB is launched (like the Platinum numbers members), to have your secured early-bird place.

 

 

Hello! I was part of the earlybird, not an original Forrest Gump joiner.

Can I confirm that you mean everyone still needs to sign up to the relevant group buy for our requested places within 48 hours? Originally I thought we would get added automatically, but it sounds like that is not the case.

So for example:

I signed up to the earlybird for King Kong and Pitch Black. When those group buys for these are live, I still need to request my copy within 48 hours and this will count as my secured place.

Just trying to make sure I understand 😃

Did you guys here that the Back to the Future Trilogy is also getting a FAC release (looks like a Maniac release with all 3 movies in one Box 😳). This will be popular for sure, but with no interest in this here I guess it will turn into a Jaws 😥.

 

It actually would help, maybe I should think about tagging the GB participants 😅, not only might we reach our goal, anyone getting extra can secure another place on a future GB.

 

I’ve added a 2nd Forrest Gump request to secure a King Kong. I can confirm I would like this in addition to my E3 for a position on Pitch Black. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the clarification! Nearly ended up requesting the same edition 4 times by accident 😄 . The way this has been set up makes sense in terms of 1 copy per reserve list. Thanks for doing this -- hopefully this'll be a way for newcomers like me to get in on some more FAC releases.

Didn't take long for me to make a mistake though... Could you please change my Pitch Black request to Forrest Gump Edition #3 instead of Forrest Gump Edition #1? Also, in case the goal is reached for this, please note that I have not yet completed 3 group buys, so I will need to make a deposit whenever everything is firmed up.

Can I confirm that if I want to secure a place in multiple GBs (e.g. King Kong and Pitch Black), I still only need to buy one copy of Forrest Gump? This may seem like a silly question, but wanted clarification.
