IIRC in the info thread it was stated that 2nd copies were not guaranteed.

Have costs for second invoice doubled? Shipping for Inception seems to be as expensive as Gladiator and Interstellar combined.

Well, this is a topic I have been thinking about lately. Lots of People nowadays cannot eat a breakfast without watching youtube or checking their mails or social media. We cannot ride a bus or a train without listening to music. Humanity has been infected by electronics and media, faster than we can adapt. Our brain is wired to look for short term dopamine kicks. When we go to the movies, we cannot enjoy the images themselves anymore for what they are. We need information and progress, fast cuts and action. Movies are not just moving images any more, their scenes act as a stimulus. Movies that once were masterpieces are now considered boring. We resort to netflix shows and netflix movies that are created in a way that enable us to do other activities in the meantime while watching... like checking our phone every few minutes. For me it's youtube, reddit, mediapsychos, ebay, instagram, facebook, tiktok. In the last 20 years we have ruined our attention span and the way movies are made today is just the reflection of this. I cannot say that I am not affected by this digital age. On the contrary, I have a huge problem. I have a media addiction. I hate movies that I used to like. My phone screen is the first thing I see after I wake up and the last thing I see before I go to sleep. The last time I had the attention span to read a whole book was 11 years ago. I think if I am able to detox from this media overflow in the next few weeks, I can lead a happier life again. And enjoy watching movies again. Wish me luck, guys.

What I appreciate about UC is that they have the guts to not go the safer route but to use uncontional images. Of course some images will not do well like this one ( it's a risk after all) but you have to respect their commitment. Imagine they would use the standard artworks for Gladiator or The Prestige. Of course every customer has the right to be disappointed about the choice this time. You will often see me criticize UC but I think that IN GENERAL it is a good thing that UC decides to spice it up and try to be different from other retailers. They often look for unique artworks and have new ideas, see their Wooden Boxes or Digipak hard boxes. In the Euro 2020 Ronaldo shot 3 penalties and all went in. But there will come a day on which he will miss the penalty. But that doesn't mean he shouldn't have taken the penalty in the first place. If you know what I mean.

Yeah, it was just experimental. I chose 1:0 because it is one of the most common results. Lots of times my heart tells me to predict 2:1 oder 2:0 but I had to fight against that urge. rtphoenix predicted the perfect results much better than my strategy, so there's that... Edit: To be more precise, if anyone is interested in math, I checked the Euros results of the last few years. 19.6% a game ends in "1:0" 23.7% a game ends with a 1 point difference without "1:0" 31.2% a game does not in a draw or in a 1 point difference which means for the expected value E and a prediction success of 66% we have: E = 0.66/(0.66+0.17)*(0.196 * 4 Pts + 0.237 * 3 Pts + 0.312 * 2 Pts) = 1.685 Pts In other words betting only 1:0 across the whole tournament will give me about 1.685 Pts per game. With 51 games played, I can expect to get around 15 * 1.685 Pts = 86 Pts without Bonus Pts.

Thank you all. I am glad, my method worked and am very happy about the prize. But I also want to apologize for using a somewhat unconventional strategy. I am a mathematician and it was a math experiment on my side. I wanted to check if the World Rankings are as irrelevant as people say. My conclusion is that using world rankings as a means to predict the outcome of football games is very reliable. My top Stats according to Kicktipp was that I missed only 33% of my winner picks. In other words: Since 15% of the games ended in a draw, I only chose the losing team 18% of the time. I believe this was the deciding factor. But I also realize there are limitations to this strategy. For example I sticked to Belgium in the game Italy vs Belgium because Belgium has the higher ranking. But this means I am disregarding the fact that Belgium have two important players with injuries. As we all know Italy won in the end. But on the bright side: I predicted Denmark to get into the semi finals, which barely anyone expected. All in all, numbers are a very useful tool when it comes to predicting the future but can also be deceiving at times. My strategy was very boring, so I want to spice it up next time we play in 2024

Yes it's very tough. I was rooting for England. Seeing the English team and fans cry was very heartbreaking.

Thanks! It's sad you didn't get into top 3. Your predictions were spot on. You are the player with best result accuracy (20%).

You predicted Italy to win it. Respect!
