    Yes it does sting a bit! Could you happen to be able to mix and match front and back covers? They sent a replacement Joker for me with my gb of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but who knows how that copy will look🤷‍♂️. I love Manta Lab, and I’m very happy with all their releases that I own. The majority are in great condition, but there are a couple that look like a cat went to town on them🤦‍♂️. My copy of Us is probably the worst as the text on the spine is misaligned on top of the scratches.

    Ya that’s the address I emailed. The first time I got a quick reply. Subsequent emails took longer to hear back. I’m guessing because of being busy with all their releases. How long ago did you email them? I’d send another message. Unfortunately It seems you have to kind of pester some of these retailers if you want a reply back. In all fairness though, they probably have a lot going on with these releases and Dunkirk coming up!

    I just opened it! Love it!! Very awesome looking set, love the quality of the coin and playing card. The embossing and spot gloss on the digipak is perfect. Now i’ll be even more antsy to get their Interstellar and Blade Runner releases😆. Can’t wait to see what they do for BTTF And TDK Trilogies!

    Finally!! After 3 months of waiting, my UHD Club edition of The Prestige has arrived! Can’t wait to open it up!! Also Airplane and American Psycho arrived the other day. Airplane has actually got a decent finish on it. American Psycho is matte, but nice art in my opinion. The slip is awful though, all those rating logos and text all over the back. Sucks because it would have been a pretty ok release without all that nonsense!

    It is a perfect film! Ya she knows the ending and all, but I’m sure she’ll still love it. Weird now that I think about it, after all this time I haven’t had her watch it with me🤦‍♂️😬

    We’ll just don’t look too closely and you should be good! Is that Manta’s Logan? I have Filmarena’s release and it is near perfect😍. Blah just got in my fullslip from Kimchi of The Nice Guys and there is a huge dent in the lower lefthand corner. I emailed Tony, hopefully he can send me a replacement slip without having to buy something else😩. It’s always something with this hobby!

    Haha same with me! I try not to look too closely anymore. Just a decent light source and as long as I don’t see any major dents/scratches, i’m happy.

    Ya i mean if you shine direct light on pretty much any steelbook, you’ll see some scratches. I made the mistake of shining my phone’s flashlight on some steelbooks😐 do that, and you’ll see scratches on all of them😩

    Ya it stings a bit! I’ve purchased a lot second hand too and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done if bought sealed. That’s just the chance we take. I’m still deciding if I should open my Infinity War steel when it arrives🤷‍♂️

    Ya, just that the majority of my manta steels have all had light scratches, paint chips, dust under the finish, micro dents, etc. They are still one of my favorite retailers, but their quality control is pretty awful in my opinion. Same goes for Nova. I know the Infinity War release from WeET had the scratch issue(my copy should be shipping soon!) but I have every other WEA release by them and they are just miles better on all fronts-condition,quality of slips, steel finishes, booklets, cards. Filmarena too! I’ve been happy with all of their releases as well. It just sucks spending the money on a really nice edition for it to arrive in poor condition.😩

    Mine as well unfortunately😩I emailed Manta with pics and they got back to me quickly and apologized. They sent a replacement steel with my OUATIH group buy order😁! Hopefully my new copy looks better! I love Mantalab releases, but i’ve had a lot of issues with their steelbooks and damage
