I am a bit confused. We had on 27.08. got the message that there are (once again) problems with the release and the GB will be canceled. So I bought the Zavvi Edition. Now I see more beauty shots and it looks like the edition is still coming (surprisingly for me). Could someone please enlighten me?

An outstanding film. This edition looks good at first glance and the new 4K Steelbook is also quite nice. But so far I am not completely convinced of the quality of the "Zavvi Fullslips". For this reason, I will most likely stick with my very awesome HDZeta Edition 😜🤘

Absolutely perfect summarizing (unfortunately too many) decisive factors. These prevent a better and more diverse selection of films for us discerning collectors. Thank you for your detailed opinion. 👍

I am sure that there will be another great edition and that you will grab it 😁 Personally, I would like to have more choice of different films in general instead of releasing the same film twice (or more than once). This also applies to all labels. There are simply too many films that haven't had a premium edition yet. Everyone has their preferences.👍

I know that this film (understandably) has a lot of fans and I have the FAC Edition myself. But this title has already been published by Hdzeta, FAC, EB, etc. Is it really necessary to release it again? why not a title that no other label has released yet?

In fact, I think it's a shame that Plain Archive was hit so hard by this situation and hardly had any new releases as a result. I think they have released very nice editions with great artwork. But above all, that they always had a focus on "special" films and not always the same films (like other labels). One can only hope that they will recover and have great new releases in 2022.

I have decided for myself (for a long time) to only reward films with a premium edition that are worth it in my eyes or that meet my specific film taste. Everyone can of course do it differently 🤘

That is certainly true. But there are at least some outstanding films and for me personally, "Free Guy" is not one of them.

The film is quite ok. Not a milestone in film history, but very funny and an interesting story. But I still don't need this film as a Premium Edition, so the German WWA Steelbook is enough for me.

Will the GB be reopened shortly for those interested who only want single editions and no OC?

Being an exclusive edition with a higher circulation, it will take longer than usual to complete the shipping process which must take into account international orders, combined shipments, collector numbers and purchase groups. On Tuesday 5th October we will publish live photos of the complete single versions and the Collector's Box, but the tracking will start to be sent only starting from 15th October.
