This film is a small masterpiece for this topic. And Kimchi has managed to publish incredibly great editions (of which I have the great fullslip 😁). As I am not a collector of OC, I will be eagerly awaiting a full slip from Manta Lab.

We are still waiting to receive the printing of the booklets and the exclusive special gift of the Box Set, so we will start with the shipment of the single versions in the first half of September and then move on to the Box Sets starting from September 15th. We used the waiting time for delivery of the material to diversify the contents of each variant and make the edition even richer.

I think it's very beautiful at first glance 😍 I also hope that wlc (or others) will publish more classics in such wonderful editions in the future. My personal favorites include e.g. Films with James Steward, Gary Grant, Audrey Hepburn. And the directors James Capra, Billy Wilder, Alfred Hitchcock.

This 30th Anniversary Edition is probably the most beautiful edition of this film. Unfortunately, the 4K Best Buy Steelbook artwork doesn't completely convince me. After all, I have this (in my opinion) successful Collectors Edition including Mediabook ✌️

I think that it is (unfortunately) normal that retailers are dependent on different processes and permits and that delays occur here. It is also understandable that retailers work on several editions at the same time. But it is stupid if you constantly communicate periods for publications and cannot even begin to adhere to them. Then it would be better not to mention time periods. I also have to say that, in my opinion, all retailers have a lot of catching up to do in terms of transparency and customer communication.

Weiss man denn schon welches Artwork feststeht ?

Are there any updates for this release? I read somewhere that a steelbook for this edition was supposedly approved in mid-2020. Of course I don't know if that's true.

Unfortunately, this cannot (yet) be recognized, but I'm afraid that the title will not be embossed. The Bluray version of the fullslip including the steelbook from KimchiDVD was a big hit. Kimchi has to be measured by this.

A great film that is finally getting a premium version. The tastes are different, as is so often the case. Personally, I think this artwork is very successful, even if there was definitely more potential upwards. But this edition is at least in my opinion significantly better than the edition of MLIFE.
