  1. Congrats @Reagh top gun @Mrdugan and @Rambo for silver & bronze, great effort I am happy with my efforts at position 33 😏 @Cornbuster lovely award , thank you Hats off to @extantsrevenge for putting together this magnificent competition And finally, thank you to all MP participants who took part You are the ones that make MP, so a big pat on the back to all of you Till the next WC in 2026....
  2. @extantsrevenge Sorry in Qatar right now, so can't physically send pics But I can share my list , with the promise of sharing pics when I return to London in a few days time Hence would still like to be considered for challenge 14 My selection for 5 different animal on 5 different editions are: Jaws (both Hdz and FAC) GoTG vol 1 & 2 (Rocket & Groot) King Kong 2005 (FA Jurassic Park 1 - 4 (FAC ) The Deer Hunter steelbook My fav animal has to be the classic shark Jaws The shark practically re-defined cinema, and the film is an all time immemorial classic They don't make movies like that any more..
  3. @CAYENNE-FAHRER Are you able to show the SBs you like (and why the Zavvi ones weren't good)? I have yet to open my zavvi edition, so may be faced with the same dilemma lol Agree Manta was the best for this film
  4. My 5 fav TV shows (1) Columbo , best detective series of all time So glad I own this complete blu ray set, only available in Japan (2) Cobra kai Obviously stems from my love of tye films, but what a series Cobra Kai is Seasons 1 to 3 were flawless, 4 was very good al, 5 tailed off a bit I hope they don't over milk this and wrap it all up in season 6 (3) Marvel: Agent Carter & Agents of Shield The earlier TV series from Marvel Agent Carter season 1 was awesome , season was okayish Agents of Shield first few seasons were good, dipped in the middle but loved the brilliant time travel in the last season And I'm a big fan of Agent Coulson as a character (4) Saved by the bell One for the old school, loved this comedy from the late 80s, early 90s Used to be called Good Morning Mrs Bliss Rebranded as Saved by the Bell abd became a cult series Very happy with this complete collection (5) Titanic: Blood & Steel TV series originally aired in 2012 to mark the centenary of Titanic, this TV series is brilliant If ever you wanted to find out about the political backdrop in which Titanic was built in Belfast, this is a must watch An outstanding achievement. I actually enjoyed it more than the film Three series I'd love to get on physical media Being a child of the 80s, I would love to see (1) MacGyver original series (not the reboot) There is some DVD existing but only for Region 4 Australia (2) Hammer house of mystery and suspense Not as popular as the hammer House of Horror series, but this one is hugely underrated (but superb nevertheless) There is a dvd release out there, but the quality is hopeless Deserves a remaster (3) Doogie Howser MD Another classic 80s sitcom U.S & Canada only had seasons released, but no universal complete collection exists!
  5. Hard luck @extantsrevenge Did not expect Germany going out @Casiusco Had Costa Rica held their lead, Spain were out too.. Not to mention Belgium 😲
  6. You don't like the recent 4k WWA steels? They weren't that bad .. But you are right, there has not been a killer WEA release for this Where's Manta when you need then lol
  7. Hope they do the trilogy HMV did a part 1 steekbook for their Japanese line, but left it at that
  8. This one is nice Front is same art rehashed again from previous WWA bluray, but I love the back guitar The WWA 4k steelbools were better, had a deloreon if you put all three together
  9. @bossjon @extantsrevenge Challenge 12: The Directors The one and only Tarantino Every film of his is a cinematic experience : My personal favourite- PULP My 3 submissions: Once Upon a time in Hollywood Pulp Fiction Reservoir Dogs Spielberg Probably the most well renowned director in Hollywood My personal favourite: Raiders of the lost ark My 3 submissions Ready Player One E.T Schindlers list James Cameron The most ground breaking director in the history of cinema My personal favourite: The Terminator My 3 submissions T2 Avatar Titanic Avatar 2 Way of Water will be epic, can't wait..
  10. @ethnosax @extantsrevenge Challenge 11 My 5 sequels for submission I avoided MCU, T2 and the more common ones Wanted to mix it up a bit Kill Bill 2 Loved the franchise, although part 1 had the edge, I loved the character development and further deep dive into the Deadly Vipers assassination squad R.I.P David Carradine BR2049 Worth the wait, for an astounding and visually stunning , atmospheric sequel Hats off Denis Villeneuve, you did not disappoint Top gun Maverick A superior sequel to an already iconic 80s cult classic Brilliant film 28 weeks later Love the zombie genre, and loved this as much as the first Great continuation of the story Shame they did not do a trilogy, with the closing scenes begging for a sequel in Paris 28 months later would be quite something Karate Kid 2 Probably my love for the whole franchise and my continuing love affair with Cobra Kai that has prompted this entry Loved the second entry here, where the focus shifts to Okinawa Great to explore the back story of Mr Miyagi, plot perfect. A sequel I'd love to see I'm sure I'm not alone, there's a huge fan clamour to see a sequel to Alita It's crying out for a sequel, cannot believe it is not on the cards Would be a travesty if it does not get done, but with the gap... it is becoming more difficult (should have been a proper franchise in flight by now)
  11. So Mondo are resuming their Zavvi Mondo line I ordered this yesterday, thus one is the only Zavvi early access (red carpet) link I was sent so far Looking forward to ordering the others Thor Ragnarok Cap Marvel Iron Man 3 Antman and the Wasp So 5 are in the pipeline correct?
  12. Oh yes, thanks for the correction.. 👍 Agree.. those who want to boycott, please go ahead Let others watch and participate Thanks
  13. Even if no one was to watch these games on TV, wouldn't make a cents dent to Qatar Their revenue streams have already been front loaded They have sold TV rights, advertising, tourism, gate receipts etc TV boycott is a futile exercise as far as financially punishing Qatar is concerned Will not make a penny's difference to them, the economics of such a tournament does not work this way (where not watching on TV will hurt them in anyway ).. Best would be to watch and at least support your team .. Also, a bit of self reflection is needed here ..in terms of our moral standards Back in 2017, Russia annexed Crimea, YES annexed a whole chunk of Ukraine, yet all countries participated when they hosted the 2018 WC. No boycott, no civil rights groups, no FIFA decision etc.. I guess it's fine when the West is fine .. Surely a whole country being annexed is a bit more serious than a minority LGBT community . Of course, both are serious issues, but why the inconsistency ...? The world's inaction and failure to act at the time is the main reason we have a war in Ukraine today. What about China's human rights record when they were awarded the 2008 Olympics..? Which everyone participated in and watched. I guess it's fine because our whole Western Supply chain comes from China? We need them, so let's conveniently turn a blind eye.. Has anyone on this forum thought of boycotting (or getting rid of ) our Blufans or Hdzeta's because of what China is doing in HK or what they are doing to the Uyghur Muslims... ... Oh no, I guess not because we all love our DLs and FS and one clicks don't we. . LGBT and not being able to drink alcohol for three hours are classic 1st World problems . What is happening in Uyghur is nothing short of genocide , yet stunned silence from the whole world.. The whole let's boycott Qatar thing is becoming a bit of a joke. A bit of introspection is needed.. It is quite sickening our double standards
  14. Fair points @Scary Hair But let's not forget western hypocrisy too in various matters However, we will not turn this forum into a political debate lol..
  15. I've submitted predictions for the bonus questions lol.. Let's see
  16. Thanks all @Mutantsmiley @GuyIncognit0 and @Noir21 Teamwork indeed. Legends That clears it up I have the brown steelbook on it's own The lenti one is cool, slight difference on front art and colour, but back art same apart from colour And inside art identical Bit of a bummer this, not much differential to go on! Even various WWAs are quite different to each other , but these two are too closely matched
  17. Thanks @Noir21 and @CAYENNE-FAHRER A bit confused So there are two different steelbooks (1) The one with the lenti, if I remove the lenti , is it the same steelbook art on front (and back)? (2) You mentioned inside art is the same ? Cheers
  18. Hi buddy Are there two different steel-books for Top Gun maverick I was not aware , thought there was only one WWA
