  1. I hope I can still sneak in challenge 9 Technically it is still inside midnight for me UK time 🙂 @Gentleman and @extantsrevenge So my 5 favourite sound tracks as follows (not in any particular order) Blade Runner Titanic Avatar West Side Story Karate Kid Blade Runner is probably one of the best movie soundtracks of all time Haunting and unforgettable Titanic was brought for the hit Celine Deon song, but even the other instrumental compositions running throughout the film e.g Rose's song are beautiful Notice another James Horner album, he left us to soon. I once read an interview of his, and he said how Avatar had taken over his life, where he was working on the score 18 hours a day for 2 years. And boy , does it show Sensational music, have a listen to Jake's first flight.. West Side Story, every track gets you tapping and thumping. In fact, the soundtrack is so good, Spielberg used the same one 60 years on Evergreen classic Karate Kid, mostly to do with my love for the film, some of the tracks really rock.. Bananarama's cruel summer, young hearts and you're the best ! My first purchased soundtrack was Jungle Book, loved the Disney soundtrack It was one of my bare necessities of life..😄
  2. @extantsrevenge Do the Americans even know what we are talking about here.. lol
  3. Exact .. Watching 3D content is great, provided the 3D is done well Unfortunately 4K 3D TVs are not to be found .. I have got away with it by having a 4K 3D projector (only Sony & JVC do it) Agree, a real shame if one isn't able to watch 3D discs Maybe Avatar 2 will ignite interest James Cameron the sole flag bearer for this format
  4. My submissions my fellow psychos Red: Groundhog Day Mlife Orange: Speed Black Barons Yellow: Charade WCL Green: Doctor Strange Blufans Pale Blue: Oblivion Everything Blu Purple: Blade Runner OAB Pink: Alita OAB
  5. @Pbsw23 Dr Strange & the Multiverse of Madness Scarlet Witch lol.
  6. Resubmission Thanks @extantsrevenge Replacement for Wizard of Oz & Coco Ghostbusters Afterlife Not a patch on the first one obviously but better than the 2016 Mellisa McCarthy drivel It was not a bad film, and the cameos at the end were very delightful 🙂 Train to Bussn / Peninsula Love this zombie franchise Koreans showing how it should be done Really glad @ksosk arranged the GB for Peninsula premium Also, in answer to the question of which film first & truly freaked me out... It is all werewolves I was a huge Michael Jackson fan growing up in the 80s Then my uncle showed my Thriller I must have been 5 years old or something, I ran out of the room when he transformed That scene scared me shi*less A few years after, I then watched American Werewolf in London I must have been about 8 or 9 I remember recording it on VHS... I was really scared I kept thinking the Werewolf will come out of the tape lol. Gave me sleepless nights, I eventually ended up throwing the VHS tape away lol. Talk about mental scars lol..
  7. My submissions for challenge 7 I am hoping my selections qualify Wizard of Oz Black Barons So first up, talking about witches, The wicked witch of the West is a stand out cinema history movie character Iconic film, iconic character , superbly played by Margaret Hamilton I have many other editions including Hdz, Warner 75th anniversary etc and the 3D version Coco BF OC For skeletons, how about this gem from Pixar When it first came out, I was thinking how have they done a kids cartoon with skeletons so that it does not freak them out But it was very cutely done .. Only Pixar can do this Ghostbusters What a flick, what a title track How ya gonna call... Quintessentially 80s, Bill Murray at his best I liked the recent one, Ghostbusters afterlife as well 28 days later Probably one of the best zombie flicks The fact that it was shot in my hometown of London was special Cillian Murphy walking around the empty streets of Westminster was quite creepy I was thinking how did they film that 🤔 Loved the sequel. Wish they do another one from the franchise 28 months later..anyone? An American Werewolf in London Best Werewolf film bar none I have pretty much every edition out there for this film But I do miss the landscape orientation play.com steelbooks They were a fun concept Looking forward to the new Zavvi hand silhouette edition, but it's been beset with many delays. Not sure I'll see it anytime soon
  8. Just in time for the 6th challenge eh @extantsrevenge 😉 How my name came about? Pretty obvious lol given my profile pic I loved Ready Player One as a movie, because I am a kid of the 80s So for me the 80s nostalgia was very impactful Loved the subtle and quaint references to all things 80s. What a decade So I thought my profile name has to be a tribute and pay homage to the crazy and best decade I had my real name as my MP profile before changing to Parzival But I was getting some unnecessary stick from the other site I cannot believe how immature , pathetic and childish people the other site are Unbelievable! Worst of all their Admins do not mediate (infact encourage it) So glad I'm in the safe haven here of MP Parasite Amazing limited edition Korean edition I have both FS A & B I cannot believe such an iconic film has only one true premium edition When I was debating whether to go for it (or not), @ksosk convinced me He said this wil be the only premium edition. Boy, am I glad I went for it A beautiful edition (both slips) Aquaman Hdzeta OC I wish they continue their DC line, such a shame as I loved their DC one clicks Ready player one Hdzeta OC I have the Manta OC as well, as well as the FAC and UMania, and Titans of Cult edition Zootopia Blufans OC edition, BF did a good job with the Disney and Pixar cartoons I must say Finding Dory, Frozen 1 & 2, Up , Coco, Rio etc all rare and very good editions I am legend FAC edition Valkyrie I absolutely love this film, especially the historical context It's a true story, superbly executed. Shooting took place at the Bendlerblock, where the real characters were executed Imagine that! Unfortunately, no premium or steelbook exists for this Until of course @BobaFett1974 made me a custom steelbook, beautiful steelbook He makes the best steelbooks in my opinion, better than premium retailers If ever a Zavvi or BB steelbook ever came out for this, I doubt it would be better than what Steffan has produced here Incredible precision and quality Alita Alita BF edition I have the much sought FAC as well A shame this kind of fizzled out. There was a lot of fan clamour for sequel, but nothing has come to fruition La la land Manta FS I have all the editions, Manta lenti & FS and the OC box Korean FNC edition Zavvi & Best buy
  9. @deckard99 @Count Dantes Hi guys any idea when the UK hubs will be receiving this? Cheers
  10. Re-post @extantsrevenge With pics So my fellow psychos Forest Gump OAB , my first ever premium purchase, hence holds a special place in my heart Manta FS was the 2nd premium I brought Beautiful Red Sparrow and Untouchables CM were next Finally my first ever GB at MP First Man OC Manta (I love what Manta do with their editions) No messing around with WWA, only WEA and very original and cool designs and concepts, like this fabric OC First of many GBs at MP (as it would turn out) 😜
  11. Great challenge buddy Oh man this is nostalgic 1st ever Forest Gump blufans OAB I simply loved this movie, and wanted to get it for my dad's birthday I remember we watched it together and holds special memories for both of us I got it from ebay, at a decent price, though remember at the time I was gutted as it was the non soundtrack version 2nd La la land Manta FS Again, loved this film Had no idea what premiums were at the time, but just searched ebay for la la land special edition This is what came up, and I quite liked the beauty of it I then realised there is another lenti edition, and a box edition That was my first education of different editions 3rd & 4th Red Sparrow & Untouchables CM Again, pure fluke. Not much knowledge of premiums at the time Was looking for a limited edition Red Sparrow release, and a seller had both these on sale at the time 5th First Man Manta OC This was my first ever buy from MP I had no idea what MP was , and came across both High Def Ni*nja and MP at the same time I actually thought these were both scam sights But then I got talking with @Scary Hair and @ksosk And hand on heart, it honestly felt like family and they convinced me to join and try the GB They were so warm and welcoming The rest they say is history I became a Psycho and premium animal!
