i checked several amazon pages before the purchase (com, co.uk, fr, it, de) and also some other webs (like zavvi etc) but none of those have the films with czech subtitles (or at least they dont have the info about it on their website). i suppose that they will be without czech support. i would consider buying it with english subtitles but i want to watch it with my wife (and hopefully with the kids one day when they will be old enought to read the subtitles :-)). anyway, once we watched "godfather" with my wife on special occassion - it was in a big hall (that is often used for concerts), HD picture quality and LIVE ORCHESTRA!! it gave me the goosebumps everytime the famous music started to play!!

i envy you that you can choose the edition. in my region (slovakia/czech republic) the 50th anniversary edition was released just today and this is the first time ever here when godfather movies were released with czech/slovak support (subtitles or audio) on 4k or bluray (really, by now it was released only on dvd until today). but this costs around 175€, no other edition is announced. i watched a few unboxing videos and i dont say that it is bad edition, but i dont think its value is 175€. so what can i do? i had only 3 options if i wanted it with slovak/czech support: 1) buy this edition that is not perfect IMO for very high price 2) wait if the price will go down later (but here is the risk that it may get sold out quickly and it will not be available again; like it happened in the past with some movies) 3) wait if any other edition will ever be released (so again, i could end up without it if no other edition comes). i deciced to buy it for this was one of my most difficult movie decisions ever... i only hope that it will be sold out quickly so i will have a feeling to have something extra special :-)

definitely the left one. the right one (with pills) has the artwork that is too lazy - just the name of the film and 2 pills on white background. 🤢

i havent seen it but even if her role was small, i dont understand why. if there were 6 names on top (like it is now) and the picture had only 1 or 2 characters (or maybe no characters at all), it is ok for me (as more actors would be with name only and without picture). but now she is the only one out of 6 people without the picture. strange...

i dont like anything "extra" that cant be stored inside box or fullslip. and CM always have something like this for every edition. i just dont like it.

this steelbook has one thing too bad - the picture shows 5 characters but the list of names on top has 6 names. why is salma hayek only written and not on the artwork? maybe a detail for somebody but too lousy for me.

black widow. i didnt like the film much but i wanted to add it to my marvel collection. but the allocation of steelbooks in slovakia (or in czech republic - as we are considered as 1 territory) was so low that i was not able to get a copy. anyway, the italian version has czech audio and subtitles on bluray disc (hooray!!) and i get 4k disc on top (compared to the buying in our territory as disney doesnt release 4k discs here... dont ask me why). and it was for a decent price (36,50€ incl. postage costs from ebay). i am happy to get this one 🙂

@Masterblaster the lenti was my frontrunner from the beginning (compared to the fullslip) and it was obviously suggested by all of you. thanks! btw, i really like the film and also the FAC edition but i have a problem when the editions look similar to each other. the same image was used for both fullslip and lenti (yes, here it is changing to jon bernthal's image) and also for the edition stickers on the front side of both editions. as can be seen in the photcards of collectr folder, there were plenty of choices available. dont know if FA was forced to this by the studio or it is their laziness but it is too sad...

i also think so. i will probably keep the lenticular and buy 4k separately and insert it inside.

yes, it is. but i like the cover more. i have a 4k steelbook prepared and i hope i will be able to echange it with the amaray. a looooooong time ago i sent the question to CM what is the size of the fullslip and if the amaray could be replaced by the steelbook but it stayed unaswered. so i keep my fingers crossed and hope.

great for both of you to get a copy. i suppose that in case the order is cancelled and refunded, it gets back to stock and from time to time it appears on the web. as the number of editions is limited to some number, i can hardly think about any other possibility. but it is still good chance to grab a sold out copy. you just need to be lucky.

after several months of waiting and some delivery problems, the package is finally here. great THANK YOU to all MP and especially to @thomue1987 this would not be possible without your patience and attitude. i could hardly thank you enough.

i went to see the latest (and the last) craig bond movie at the weekend. it had its ups and downs. UPs: technically it is a fantastic movie. it has beautiful italy at the beginning (visually probably the most stunning part for me), interesting cuba, lovely norway (but not used enough) and villian's island in the end (sorry, if i forgot something important). cinematography is also very nice (once again - see the italy!). zimmer's music was surprisingly interesting for me - he uses the melody from the main song (that i dont like so much), he uses older motives and builds new music that sometimes reminds me of the dark knight for example (which is a plus, of course). the music gets to be monumental in some parts. UPs and DOWNs: action scenes are totally uneven, some of them are fantastic (fight on the stairs near the end - one-time camera shot; italy), some are total misfires ("car chase" in norway - wtf?!?). the same ups and downs is with the characters - bond, Q and M on one side (fantastic), blofeld, safin, doctor obruchev on the otherside (bad...). some characters were not used enough which is a shame (leiter, moneypenny). and for some characters i am not decided if they were good or bad (madeleine, new 007). DOWNs: plot and the use of villians are the weakest parts (lack of blofeld was my problem also in "spectre"; motivation of many characters (villian, doctor obruchev, agent ash) is so vague...). and the title song is nothing extra at all. anyway, it is all wrapped in so emotional package that no other bond ever has done. all craig movies could be considered as one long story and i am really looking forward to watching them all together one day. since "casino royale" bond was a vulnerable character - physically and emotionally, no superhero. he did not change, his emotions grew, at least somewhere inside him. even after several years he still hasnt forgotten about vesper or madeleine (this includes also some betrays from them - he loves them and hates them at the same time i think - one of my best scenes was in DB5 in italy where bond and madeleine were surrounded by the enemies who where shooting at them, especially the one shooting to madeleine's window). all of these emotions are coming back to him and they culminate at the end. to sum it up - "no time to die" is very good ending of the craig 007 era, it is technically great movie with fantastic emotional background. it only lacks the strong plot, villain and the motivations of the characters. it is great but it could have been fantastic. 7,5/10 for me.

my top3 bond films would probably be: - from russia with love - great espionage plot - casino royal - fantastic action scenes - for your eyes only - my parents had it on VHS so i used to watch it often and until now i am still in love with this one

dont you have PSYCHO fullslip on both photos? it looks like everythingblu. or are those 2 different editions?
