hello mate

I’m still confused at how the new group buy works. Since the original GB for It Chapter 2 CMA was moved, I don’t know how and when I should expect an invitation to the club ? Is this how it works. I am on the lenticular list and don’t want to lose my place.

The Black Barons #23 for IT (2017) AND Black Barons #26 IT Chapter Two (2019) are both beautiful packages well put together. The XL Slip Size for both offer high quality and nice amount of bonus items. Both Packages offer the BD as well as the UHD Disks.

In Regards to the Cine-museum Art, The Slip for Chapter one is Superb. The Lenticular has nice depth and clarity. The Back art is crazy cool 😎, Chapter Two also will offer an exclusive back Art to die for (it looks like it will be the same type as the back art of Chapter One). They both offer lesser amount of bonus items and only the Blu-ray Disk(No UHD for CMA editions).

For those of you interested, here is a nice review of the 4K UHD 35th anniversary Disc;

The Goonies was shot on 35 mm photochemical film using Panavision cameras and anamorphic lenses. It was finished on film at the 2.39:1 aspect ratio for theatrical exhibition. For its 35th anniversary Ultra HD release, Warner has scanned the original camera negative in 4K to create a new Digital Intermediate and graded the color for high dynamic range (available here in HDR10). The resulting image is very good looking overall. Fine detail and surface texturing are strong—and pretty dramatically improved over the previous Blu-ray—save for some of the opticals and occasional shots exhibiting soft focus (or anamorphic softness around the edges of the frame). Film grain is light-medium and organic looking. Colors are accurate and bit more vivid, with added 10-bit nuance. The expanded contrast offers deep black shadows with enhanced detail in most shots, though occasionally they look a little gray. Highlights are bolder, which is especially effective given the film’s exterior overcast skies (not to mention lantern light, water reflections, and the aforementioned treasure). All in all, this is a nice presentation that certainly represents the film looking better than ever.

The 4K disc includes a lossless English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio encode that’s improved yet similar in quality to the 5.1 Dolby TrueHD mix found on the previous 25th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray release from 2010. The soundstage is big and wide across the front, with the surrounds used mostly for music and atmospheric fill. There are some nice panning and directional effects, but they tend to be more subtle. Dialogue is clean and clear, while the music and score are presented with excellent fidelity. The overall tonal quality is full, with a solid foundation of low end, though the mix still retains much of its original stereo character.

There are no extras on the 4K disc itself, though the package also includes 2010 Blu-ray release. (Note that this disc is definitely not mastered from the new 4K scan.) 

Just opened my Boxset and it’s just superb 😊 letting is sharp(clarity and depth) the spot gloss and bossing treatment is minimal but very classy. In love with this release worth the time waiting and money well spent on a high quality item. Here are some pics while I was opening everything but I am no expert so picture might not do it justice.

Please try the steps from @Count Dantes (thanks!) above. Also, did you pick this option "A notification and an email when new content is posted"? I have found that the one email per day/week options don't work well for me. And some email providers block these type emails mistaking them for spam sometimes.

on each Gb that I follow, I selected this option. It seems that the Kimchi one was the one I am not receiving but did the unfollow and deselected the notification by email.

however where can I find that link for being notified for ALL GBs ? O_0

Are you receiving any other notifications for other threads you are following? Typically i do the following.

1. I would make sure I am receiving other emails from the other release threads i'm following. 
2. Go to the top of the thread and click on the "Following" icon. then click unfollow. Then follow it again.
3. If that doesn't work then go click on your name at the top right of the page and go to "account settings" and then "email". Retype your email in and hit save and that should do it. 
4. Gmail is typically the best email platform to use.

just a question, I see that the GB for Kimchi GB of Whiplash was posted/opened on March 25.

i looked at my notification preferences and it is set in the Kimchi GB thread to receive an email and notification on MP, however I did not receive any email and just checked at my alerts on my profile and received none. Is there something I did wrong ?

just asking for future GBs.
