Yeah I knew about that, and hopefully they make more sense going forward. I’ve never considered deadpool as part of the X-Men, Since none of the original X-Men were in it. But I’m actually hoping that Deadpool 3 makes fun of this merger, and the X-men timeline.

The timeline in all the X-Men movies are so messed up. I’m going to try & watch them this way, because when I watch them all together I just get pissed off at how Fox ruined such a promising franchise.

I have to agree, not going to argue that. I don’t like them all, but there are some that are good movies.

They have The Mandalorian show, majority of the Marvel Movies, and Animated shows. All the Simpson episodes a lot of Disney movies. Also have some Marvel TV shows coming up soon. I mean for me yes, but I don’t know what your looking for to say it is worth it for you. But you can sign up for a free trial, and if you don’t like it cancel it.

You know now that you mentioned it that’s a great way to watch the other films.

🤣 I do the same thing with the X-men Movies. 

The wolverine Trilogy to me doesn’t fit, and has a lot of plot holes if you try to put them in the Xmen continuity with the others. So I treat them as there own thing. 

To me if you watch the Wolverine movies on there own it feels more like a complete series by themselves. Beginning/Middle/End

I don’t think T3 is bad it’s pretty entertaining, just overall looking at the franchise as a whole it’s a disappointment. Plus I personally never thought it was the right direction for the franchise. I agree Genisys is trash! There are some interesting ideas in Genisys but that movie as a whole smfh. I watched Dark Fate for the first time the other day & it’s okay. Better than Genisys but that isn’t saying much. After we was done both me & Erica felt like Dark Fate was a pointless movie that added nothing to the Franchise. I more than likely will never watch it again, but people who have watched them all should give Dark Fate a watch. 

Well this is a prime example of what we get when the original creator steps away, and decides to come back. If he would of never left, and finished what he started we could of had some very cool. But after T2 I just consider them as individual Syfy flicks. I don’t really count them as a continuation. 

Wish they would stop going back, and try to continue movies like this when they been sitting for so long. It’s like they run out of ideas so they go back to there old films.

Firstly I agree with you that any sequel not penned & directed by Cameron is already a step in the wrong direction. With that said I always liked Salvation & I believe this sequel to be a stumbling step in the right direction for the series. Seeing the actual war between man & machine seemed like the most logical step to take the franchise to me after T2. 

 

Anytime the movies flash to the future I always use to think “I want to see that movie” what exactly did John Connor do to save the human race? How did he do it? So Salvation gives us a little taste of that war. Unfortunately though the movie has a ton of problems, but even with that said the movie still feels like potential. I believe with better writing the movie could have been better. I would have never picked McG to Direct, but under the circumstances he did okay. Salvation is his best movie & I think he could have improved if given an opportunity to finish the story with better scripts to work with.

 

When I watch Salvation I feel like I’m watching a movie by a director who loves the Terminator movies, but there is to much mishandling, to many cooks in the kitchen & the Director isn’t good enough to fix a dish that has been over seasoned. When I watch the other sequels I just see creators trying to capture lightning in a bottle again. They don’t really have a pure idea to continue the story which is why they all just feel like rehashes of T2.

  Im probably in the minority but I actually like T3, and thought it was pretty good. It was stepping away from Sarah Conners character, and starts to embrace Johns future.

   Also enjoyed Salvation and the fact they were finally showing the future, and storylines they were talking about in the previous movies.

  I thought Genesis was a pile of crap, and the writer/director had no idea what the franchise was about. Felt like they didn’t know where to go with it, so they just did the first thing that came to mind. The whole story was a big disappointment to me.

  I Have not seen Dark Fate yet.

Oh yeah it’s real easy when there is so many great titles to obtain. I have to stay off EBay because it’s one of many sources of my account decline 😅.

Ebay is not my friend, i spend way too much on there. Especially when it comes to 4K titles.
