  1. Oh, my God, this is a terrible situation. They should make him feel as comfortable as possible. I hope his surgery goes well and is a success--best of luck to you and your husband, Lindy!
  2. This is a really upsetting bit of news....that's an extremely expensive box, and I would be really chomping at the bit to get it in hand. Nils @extantsrevenge: Dare I say this might be a situation where a simple email exchange from a Moderator with Raro could straighten out for him? I sure hate to see a company like Raro Film would do to a member of our community.
  3. Good morning from the beautiful state of Wyoming (USA), where it is currently a very soothing 64°F (17.8°C)! I hope everyone has a MARVELous Thursday! The weekend is almost here!!!!

  7. Bonjour mes amis! It's a pleasant 62° Farenheidt (16.7° Celsius) in Wyoming this fine morning! Wishing all of you a pleasant Wednesday! I'll spare my Francophone friends the gory details of my BLISTERED FEET!
  8. HOWDY from Wyoming where we currently have a VERY PLEASANT 62° Farenheidt! Hope everyone has a great Wednesday! I went for two long hikes on rocky terrain the last two days wearing Vibram five-toe shoes (not shoes at all!) and I have blisters all over the bottoms of my feet. OUCH! I can barely stand on my feet today.... it's back to shoes and cowboy boots at least till "my dogs" (feet) get better!
  9. Good morning from Wyoming! Wishing everybody a happy Wednesday… I have blisters on the bottom of both of my feet from wearing Vibram five-toes shoes while hiking 8 miles on rocky terrain…. I can barely stand up today!

  15. Guten Morgen all you Paychos!!! Wishing everyone a happy Tuesday, hopefully full of even more great news of Disney 4K releases!
  16. Thanks for your thoughts--I don't think my photos do the set any true justice. Other more talented photographers will more than likely post better photos in the coming days, but I was happy to be a pioneering guinea pig for opening my set. The sparkle on the OC box is mesmerizing!
  17. Okay, so my honest opinion is that the Black Adam (Raro Film one-click) is a definite couple of steps up in improvement from their Nightmare On Elm Street box. First of all, the one-click box itself has that beautiful sort of rubberized texture, along with some *stunning* spot gloss effects: I also didn't realize until opening this set that one of the slips has an Amray version of the movie, while the other has the WWA steelbook. Both sets include the same booklet with extensive essays in both Italian and English, and the Collector's Envelope has some of the most beautiful cards I've seen in any set, with much spot-varnish/gloss on every card. However, the paper they are using for the envelopes and cards seems to be a little on the thin side compared to most other premium editions. I'd be curious what other collectors think.... Here are just a few examples of the otherwise very beautiful cards (apologies for my poor photographic skills in this low light): Here are the two slips included: In short, this set is much better value than the Nightmare On Elm Street box (even though you do get 7 films in that set), but I honestly think this one is priced about $100 higher than it should be. Again, I'd be curious what other collectors think about this set. Dutifully submitted for John @Masterblaster and Ken @deckard99 by your loyal correspondent…. Brian @Manticore4

  19. Here are a few recent acquisitions.... With the arrival of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (HDZeta Gold leather edition), my collection is now complete--thanks to John @Masterblaster for getting them all to me (and the MPC protectors for them), and thanks to the rest of the mods for making this mini-GB reopening possible for those of us who missed out the first time! Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (HDZeta Gold leather) Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (HDZeta Gold leather) Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (HDZeta Gold leather) with the arrival of The Matrix: Revolutions (Manta Lab one-click), my collection of all four Matrix movies is complete. QUESTION: for these one-clicks, did only Revolutions and Resurrections include an extra item (i.e. the glow-in-the-dark cat)??? The Matrix (Manta Lab one-click) The Matrix: Reloaded (Manta Lab one-click) The Matrix: Revolutions (Manta Lab one-click) The Matrix: Resurrections (Manta Lab one-click) Lastly, two other highly-anticipated one-clicks have arrived! Inception (Manta Lab one-click) • Black Adam (Raro Film one-click with tiny lightning bolt gift) Huge thanks and shout-out to the entire team of Moderators at Media Psychos--you all put in so much time and effort to make sure these run as smoothly as possible, and I can't thank you enough for all the fantastic premium editions I've collected here in my short time as a member. Thank you all!!
