  1. I think it's pretty hard to defend a claim that Léon is not the main character even if Mathilda has a very important role. In Die Hard we want Bruce Willis and not Alan Rickman and in this case the movie's title is literally Léon. In Godfather you also want Marlon Brando there. The Dark Knight might in fact be an exception since Joker's role was indeed iconic and there are other movies in the trilogy.
  2. I don't understand why in a movie called Léon, the character is not in the front cover of the steelbook. I think the full slip is the best of the three.
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Colombiana at first supposed to be a sequel to Léon with Mathilda?
  4. If you think Once Upon a time in Hollywood is like watching paint dry, then for sure you never watched Jeanne Dielman 23, quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles (1975)!
  5. If I had to rank them, I'd say something like this: 1 - Reservoir Dogs 2 - Pulp Fiction 3 - Inglourious Basterds 4 - Jackie Brown 5 - Kill Bill 6 - The Hateful Eight 7 - Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 8 - Django Unchained 9 - Death Proof
  6. For me it's a pretty close call between them. However, I've always felt that Reservoir Dogs was more creative and Vic Vega is my 2nd favourite character from Tarantino after Hans Landa.
  7. Challenge #17 1 - Lethal Weapon 2 - 48 Hours 3 - The Last Boy Scout 4 - Die Hard with a Vengeance 5 - Tango & Cash
  8. Yeah, I figured a release like this would be quickly sold out. After all, it's a great movie and the steel looks great.
  9. I mean from what I looked on Ebay people were selling it for 100€+ Either steelbook only or fullslip would be nice I guess. A normal price, I'd say not more than 50€.
  10. The steel looks great. If it appears somewhere at a normal price, I'll be seriously considering getting one.
  11. Challenge 16: Trying to do a top 10 is so hard. I'd say something like this: Rocky Taxi Driver Once Upon a Time in America Reservoir Dogs The Great Escape Scarface The Godfather I/II Three Colours: Red His Girl Friday The Searchers At first, I had a top 13 list, but ended up choosing to delete Memento, Cinema Paradiso and Goodfellas. It was also a really hard choice between Rocky and Rambo First Blood and between Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. Honestly, I would like to have a steelbook of them all since at the moment I only have Godfather I/II and Scarface.
  12. If it was like Mad Max, I would probably buy. Got that for 75€. Being just a single steel, I won't since I'm not even a huge fan of Pirates of the Caribbean.
  13. I actually did long ago because that author is a mandatory reading in high school. I liked the film, but there is one aspect that I think they could've done better. The character Adam in the novel has a very weird name (Tertuliano) and it causes him anguish to the point he constantly tries to hide it. I think this aspect could be explored better in the film.
  14. Good evening, I started recently buying steelbooks. I've always loved cinema, so basically I started collecting steelbooks of movies that I've watched in the past and liked. I'm from Portugal and in my country we barely find stuff like this, so till now what I've done is buying steelbooks that I see on Amazon. Then after doing a search online I found mediapsychos and decided to create an account. Right now, I'm still exploring the forum itself and trying to learn more about it. Thank you for your messages.
