My wife and I saw ‘8 Mile’ again last night as it’s been forever since I had seen it. Such a good movie! Can’t wait for the 4K.

There’s been nothing on Inception Manta news, correct? I know I said I’m done after LOTR, but I forgot I don’t have a premium for Inception. My final Nolan film I don’t have a premium for.

I’m not gonna lie: I’m getting fat with some pizza and getting drunk tonight. This is truth. And I have spoken.

Tenet is definitely my reference 4K disc I show people. The opening is incredible with the IMAX and sound is bonkers.

I think cinemas can get back to the way they used to be if movie studios, actors and directors actually made more of an effort towards maintaining longer theatrical releases. Tom Cruise thankfully convinced Paramount to keep Maverick in cinemas for 90 Days. Nolan and Villeneuve have been adamant about theatrical releases (so much that Nolan left to Universal due to WB and their HBO Max stuff). Peele did great with NOPE. Streaming, in my opinion, is a bit dull and boring. A film is supposed to be an event. It’s supposed to be something you get excited about, make plans for, and see on a big screen. I’m all for streaming a film I’ve already seen, or a movie I just didn’t have time to see, but for the films I actually care about (the ones I’m passionate about seeing) I go to the cinema. Support your local cinemas.

There are several ‘WOW’ moments that happened, some when I was a child, a teenager, and as an adult. When I was a child it was definitely Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. The final fight with Darth Maul Vs. Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. I had never seen anything like that before. I was 10 years old when this film came out. It blew my freaking mind. I was like: But the first ‘WOW’ moment happened as I entered my teenage years. It was when I watched The Two Towers in cinemas — the Battle of Helm’s Deep. I was 13 when the film released. I was literally like: Lastly, as an adult (I’m sure everyone saw this coming), it was The Dark Knight. I have always been a Batman fanatic all of my life (toys, comics, shows, films). I saw it in IMAX film and the entire film was WOW to me. But the opening bank sequence literally made my jaw drop. I told myself “This is going to be the best movie ever”. I’m sure my brain was like:

I’ve wanted to watch Prospect for a while now. It’s literally on my ‘Movies To See’ list. I love the Sci-Fin Western vibe. Maybe I’ll pick up this weekend or rent it digitally.
