Man… things were going so well, too. Well, mostly. Two nearly complete lines and now…bupkis. Maybe Game 3 will be my lucky one.

I love that James Cameron has enough sway with Disney to get them to release his titles on 100GB discs with Dolby Vision.
 

Unfortunately, not even Cameron was able to get this $200 Billion company to shell out the few extra cents for the easily removed, residue-free stickers they’ve plastered on the front of these slips… 😭 Maybe we’ll get lucky on the next Avatar release. In the meantime, prepare the hair dryers!

Got mine today, too! Now I just need to find the time to check them out… I sampled the digital copy of Aliens on iTunes a few months back when they added the new 4K master and… it was a very different experience visually from the Aliens I remember and grew up with. It’s going to take some getting used to.

Oh man, a 4K edition of Bound. That's an absolute must-have for me.

I spent the couple extra bucks for the expedited shipping since it was such a marginal difference, and added gift wrap in the hopes it might help protect it further. Hopefully it actually arrives within the given timeframe (May 4-7). I'm excited! 

Nice! Been a while since I saw this one, but was thinking of revisiting it not too long ago. Guess I'll just wait for the 4K disc then!

I'm really tempted to order it myself and swap out the discs with whatever we get here in the US. I'm kind of confused by the images Amazon has up though... are we getting the 4-disc digipack in addition to the steelbook, which must be the top sample? So the bottom sample is Visual Sheet?

EHHHH... I guess the above is a moot point now. I just ordered the deluxe set with the steelbook anyway. I see the description notes that it does come with the digipack, so I guess that means we get both cases unless it's just a lazy cut and paste job from the other edition. I reckon the only way to know for sure it see what arrives on my doorstep in May! 🤣

Apparently it's pretty standard for Toho's Japanese releases to not have English tracks or subs; it sounds like their Shin Godzilla release was the same. Hopefully whoever has US disc rights does us right with their release, because I'm doubting it'll be as fancy looking as this one. I challenge them to prove me wrong though! 

Fingers crossed we get a (legit) premium announcement and news on a US disc release soon.
 

Be aware, too, that this Japanese release does not have English subtitles. But damn, it sure is pretty!

The Manta Lab Godzilla was for the 2014 US edition from WB/Legendary Pictures, not Minus One (unless I missed that one too...in which case...🤦‍♂️)

@extantsrevenge @raylight just wanted to say thanks to you and the Game Masters for this year’s rabbit hunt. It’s been a lot of fun so far, and a great revamp to the prior hunts. I’m liking these little games and puzzles a heck of a lot more than sifting through thousands of forum posts! 😂 Great job, gang! Thank you for all your hard work on this!
