My first premium steelbook and, hot damn, it’s lovely! I had all but two of the MCU flicks in steelbook, and had been looking for a second-hand copy of the THOR RAGNAROK steel. When I came across a weET edition of THOR, it was a no-brainer, and being a steelbook/no slip for sale, I couldn’t resist. This sucker is absolutely gorgeous, with some nice ‘bossing. Now I just need to find a steelbook for THE INCREDIBLE HULK…

Tuesday’s Best Buy 4K Steelbook pickups!

Finally got my copy of JUSTICE LEAGUE a few days ago. Happy to have this movie in physical media, even though I’m not terribly impressed with this steelbook’s artwork (although if they had embossed some elements here, I could have been really won over, but alas…). Can’t wait to see what HDZeta does for their release!

I like the art, but am really bummed Target moved away from the digipacks like they did for Infinity War, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man 2, and Endgame. I opted for the steelbook instead. If they'd have kept the digipack, though, my OCD would have been raging. I have the Best Buy 4K steelbooks for everything up to IW (except Thor Ragnarok and Incredible Hulk), when I switched to the Target Exclusives. Then, Far From Home only got a Steelbook release because it's Sony. I'd have gone bonkers looking at steelbooks, digipacks, one steelbook, another digipack, and who knows what next... I guess moving forward I'm just going to stick with the steelbook releases from here on out. 🤣🤣

Finally got my shipping notice, and a $1 refund. 🤣 I would have preferred a complimentary upgrade on the shipping, since this thing apparently isn't arriving until Monday, if USPS is able to get their crap together. Now, fingers crossed it arrives in good condition!

My revision options are all greyed out, and the order status is "getting it ready." Of course, Justice League has had the same status for a week now, so we'll see. Supposedly it's arriving by Sept. 27. We shall see...

Jesus, that steelbook is a big ol' yikes for me. 🤣 Guess I'll get the standard edition.

Damn, that DL sold out fast! I was able to add it to my cart but by the time I got to PayPal to checkout just a few seconds later, all I got was a “something went wrong” screen. Had everything preloaded as suggested, and still no luck. Guess I’ll just have to live with the 4K and Blu-ray editions I already have. 🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭

So, I saw in a YouTube that to buy through Collectong, you need a customs clearance number. I’m in the US — how would I find this number? I’ve never done this before…

Hi @MikeH5856 The decision to apply premium tiers to a GB is made by the staff, based on many factors. In general we are currently using premium tiers for Blufans, Fanatics, HDZeta (silver), Manta, Weet, and Filmarena/Black Barons since we know demand will be very high. This list can and will change as needed. Tiers are used on other GBs on an as needed basis. HDZeta gold releases have higher print runs so we don't currently need to use tiers on those.

 

Our GB Rules are currently off-line being updated, hence the non-working link.

Newbie question, if you don't mind. Is there a list of which producers or GBs have prioritized tiers, or is it just Manta? The Group Buy Rules page referenced in the GB for Blade Runner leads to a "Sorry, we could not find that!" page. I tried looking at the Rules via the Group Buy Rules board, but the amended TOS posts are both deadlinks, too. 

Or is it just the notice of list prioritization on the individual group buy page? I notice the Manta Blade Runner page says "List Order = Request Order with Premium Memberships taken into account. First Platinum, Gold and then regular." The GB for HDZeta's Tenet does not have a similar statement, so should I expect that to not be prioritized by tiers? 

Just trying to figure all this out and a brand-new Psycho! 🤣 Thanks!

Best Buy says they're getting my order ready...for a delivery date of September 20. 🤦‍♂️

Hopefully it gets here quicker than that! 

My pre-order for $16.99 hasn't budged and it's not available for in-store pickup within 150 miles of me. 😭

I'm new to this too! I was psyched that I was on the list for the double lenticular and that I would finally get to make my first purchase as a new member. And then very confused about why my name disappeared from the list... 🤣 

This thread has been very helpful in explaining things and giving me an idea of how orders will be prioritized. I thought it was first-come, first-serve. Lesson learned! Fingers crossed I'm on enough other potential group buy lists that I get to finally pop my premium steelbook collecting cherry! I'm #5 on the Cinemuseum edition for THE SUICIDE SQUAD, and paid a deposit for the UHD Club edition of JAWS. Hopefully I'm able to secure both! If not, well... at least you longer-termers are saving me money. 🤣🤣🤣

That slip art is what I was hoping would be used the for the steelbook. May have to spring for this one, too!
