Meine letzte Rechnung von MP liegt schon einige Wochen zurück dabei erwarte ich so viele Editionen...geht es euch auch so?

Justice League Hdzeta wäre bsp langsam mal fällig ?? oder Amadeus hdzeta, Fargo WCL oder Hacksaw Kimchi.

Gesehen habe ich ihn noch nicht aber es ist ein stop motion Film. Diese Art von Animation kennst du vielleicht aus Kubo, nightmare before christmas oder Mr. Fox.

Ich persönlich mag diese Filme. Die werden nur selten gemacht und sind daher schon etwas besonderes.

Paterson 8/10

This movie is about an ordinary guy living his ordinary life and we get to see one week of it. He is a bus driver and passioned poet.

There is no action, drama or anything like that. Just a normal guy living his life.

You may think that sounds very boring but that is really not the case. Actually it was pretty refreshing in its way and also very funny here and there.

Adam Driver gave an incredible performance, his best to date. Very adorable and charming throughout the entire movie.

The slow pacing might be a problem when it comes to rewatch value, hence 8/10 and not 9/10.

Highly recommended

I really really liked it.

Unique story (back then) with brilliant cast. Cinematography was top notch too.

I highly recommend watching Strange days but I suppose everyone already did and I am last lol

Lange hab ich überlegt, wie ich die Bewertung hier angehe, ich mag eigentlich die Del Toro Filme sehr. Hellboy gehört zu meinen absoluten Lieblingen.

Aber Shape of Water hat zwar schöne Bilder und eine etwas andere Liebesgeschichte zu bieten, aber muss deswegen 1,5 Stunden von 2 quasi vor sich hin plätschern?

Emotional wird man nicht mitgenommen, Musik ist gut, aber nicht überragend.

Alles in allem fragt man sich, wo ist hier der beste Film von 2017 (laut der Oscar Jury)?

Ich habe ihn jedenfalls nicht gesehen, was traurig ist.

Ich kann mir auch nicht vorstellen, dass ich mir den die nächsten 5 Jahre nochmal reinziehe

You sure know what to expect from Darren Aronofsky by now and this one is no exception.

It was fun to work on theories about the meaning of all of this while watching. Unfortunately I am not sure I did get the movie....probably not. But that is not really important. I was entertained the entire time and sometimes shocked Performences were pretty good, directing too and there were some cool original ideas. Two thumbs up for that.

I recommend this movie to those who like Aronofsky's others.
