Games Guess the Bond movie
Boilersteel replied to R1s1ngs0n's topic in "Shaken, Not Stirred"'s Topics
Ok well I think I know now, but since I have been doing all the guessing, I will let @hansreinhardt and @Sidewinder have a shot. -

Well now I am just guessing, but at least you have it narrowed down to classics and I am assuming it is after YOLT, although Thunderball hasn't been completely ruled out, your hint seems to rule that out. What about Live and Let Die? -

Ok well, now more stumped, it can't be OHMSS can it? If it is I can't remember the scene. -

Actually after typing YOLT, I immediately regretted that guess as everything seems to be pointing to Goldfinger with all the multiple women pilots in that movie. So hopefully that is the one. -

I doubt it, but I have to guess Goldeneye? -
Looks incredible. That premium display case and how everything fits is crazy cool. Great job!

Multi Retailer The Godfather (4K UHD Steelbook) [USA]
Boilersteel replied to ShadowWarrior's topic in Multi Retailer
After a trip to Best Buy I can now display all three Godfather steelbooks. Included a picture of the old bluray steelbooks as well. Have to say the back artwork was better on those, as it wasn't just a bunch of words. Although they are very popular phrases from each movie, so props there. -
Just paid for them today, they allow you to wait to pay until they come in stock so did that. Dvdstore.it packaging has been phenomenal, so they are my go to when purchasing a bunch of items. Shipping is just too expensive for single items. Anticipate they will be sent today, and will probably receive by Monday or Tuesday.

"Only seen once." If its Casino Royale I am incredibly shocked, but @hansreinhardt you might be on to something. -
So, just saw a video of the unboxing of the collector's edition. Of course it looks like the 4K banner and UK ratings are printed on the slip, but now Disney even went so far to not put artwork on the back. It is just a printed on version of what used to be on a jcard with the details about the film. So happy I c worded my order a couple weeks before release. Disney really is trying everything to get people to not purchase physical media even with so called "collectors editions". It really is sad and disappointing. 😞

Once only, that is surprising. 😮 Hmm, well I know which ones I can rule out. Seems like that gets me down to 7 choices. No Time to Die? -

Well it looks like an old door, but is it an old door in a newer movie, or it could be an old door in an old movie, or wait it could still be a new door in an older movie or a new door in a newer movie. Oh dear... 🤔 -

Well, every now and then I actually guess one correctly, rock on! Next one ... Hope this isn't a duplicate, been a bunch so far so hoping it isn't. -
Might as well submit for this award the easy way. Although, I am almost embarrassed to show 3 editions of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 😆

@Gary K excellent idea for this challenge. Very interesting to hear how everyone started out in this world of premiums. 1. First ever premium I purchased was a Blufans Guardians of the Galaxy 2. I purchased it opened on Ebay. Really just bought it for the steelbook, because the steelbook looked amazing. Knew nothing about Blufans, but the gloss, colors, and detail on the steelbook were incredible, and I definitely was on the lookout for more Blufans steelbooks after this. 2. The second premium I bought was Blufans Avengers Mondo, although I had no idea it was a Blufans edition. There is still no mention of Blufans anywhere on it, as it seems like the sticker was removed. This was also bought opened on Ebay as a random purchase. Absolutely loved the creative artwork on the steelbook and was just starting to purchase other Mondo steelbooks around that time. 3. The third premium I bought was the Captain America First Avenger Kimchi. This was also purchased opened on Ebay. From the pictures and description it looked like I was just purchasing the opened steelbook, so I thought that would be the only thing sent. Instead the seller sent the lenticular slip and the extras along with the steelbook. 4,5,6 WeET Spiderman 1,2, and 3 fullslips from Media Psychos (they all came together so included them all even though it was supposed to be only 5). After just a few prior premiums I set my eyes on the WeET Spiderman editions and had read that Media Psychos would be a good place to participate in groupbuys, so I signed up for Media Psychos, read all the requirements for participating in groupbuys, and signed up for the WeET groupbuy. Thanks @Scary Hair for updating me about all of the information necessary to join a Media Psychos groupbuy. Everyone at Media Psychos has always been very welcoming and helpful. It really is a great uplifting community. It is awesome to be in the presence of so many other psychos who have a passion for collecting these premiums!
