  1. My new AMP arrived today from Bottleneck Gallery, Drive by Pablo Olivera, Some close up shots,
  2. I’m definitely in for the OC & FS, I’m also loving the front design of the steelbook.
  3. New steelbook just arrived, WALL•E by Blufans It appears that the seller had kept this completely sealed as it was still in the original Blufans bubble wrap.
  4. New steelbook arrived today, Drive by Mondo This was definitely one of the first few steels that got me into collecting movie steelbooks and it’s finally in my collection.
  5. Interesting release but I kind of wish that Manta didn’t go the route of doing a release for a movie they just done last year via their ME line. I think it’d be cool if we could have got maybe “updated” designs for the more older ME releases. Also does anyone know what CP stands for?
  6. New GB pickup just arrived, The Matrix by Manta Lab I’d like to thank the whole MP Staff Team that was behind this GB and the UK Hub Master @blu.steel33 for sending this to me 😁 From what I’ve seen of the DL I can strongly say that this release turned out great and you couldn’t mess up if you got either one of these slips. The FS in hand feels great, can’t wait till I can try out the glow in the dark effect.
  7. Some new deliveries arrived over the past few days. My sisters birthday is approaching so I thought I’d get her a few steelbooks of some of her favourite movies 😁 First up is Pixels by FAC,
  8. Week 24: “And The Oscar Goes To….” Here are my 5, 1) The Godfather (Best Picture 1973) 2) Forrest Gump (Best Picture 1995) 3) Interstellar (Best Achievement in Visual Effects 2015) 4) Blade Runner 2049 (Best Achievement in Cinematography & Best Achievement in Visual Effects 2018) 5) 1917 (Best Achievement in Cinematography/ Best Achievement in Visual Effects & Best Achievement in Sound Mixing 2020) As for what I think should of won best picture I’d probably have to say the following, 2000: The Green Mile over American Beauty 2003: The Pianist over Chicago 2008: There Will Be Blood over No Country For Old Men 2011: This is a hard choice but I’d say it’s between Black Swan or Inception over The Kings Speech 2013: Django Unchained over Argo 2015: Whiplash over Birdman 2017: Another hard choice but I’d say it’s between Hacksaw Ridge/ Hell or High Water & Lion over Moonlight 2018: Get Out over The Shape of Water
  9. Challenge 23: The Best of The Best Personally I’d say my favourite genre would have to be as Sci-Fi but I’m a fan of pretty everything, action, adventure, thriller, animation, comedy, crime, fantasy & war. Maybe not romantic movies though lol. For this challenge I have chose the following, 1: Blade Runner 2049 2: The Matrix 3: Back to the Future 4: Interstellar 5: Dune As for what made me fall in love with this genre I can’t say for sure but I want to say it was either the BTTF Trilogy or the original G1 Transformers cartoon. In the early years of my life I was raised by my uncle who grew up in the 80s as a result whatever he enjoyed as a kid was shown to me from things such as Transformers, Thundercats, He-Man & TMNT just to name a few.
  10. One of my grails just arrived, Hell or High Water by Kimchi Recently got promoted at work so I thought I’d treat myself a little. Now I just need the OC & FS-A. I wish the numbering card was straight 🙃
