OK thanks! I think they do it based on supply/demand. I noticed that trend with other releases that would come back into stock now and again. Also find it odd that they randomly sell a few copies here and there. Not long ago I snagged a Jaws set from their site. I wonder if they keep a stash and wait for the secondary market to ramp up and then sell at that level.

How do you track sold out stuff on the CM site? Do you just check periodically or do you use one of those websites that alerts you when something changes on the page?

The WWA steelbooks for both of these are absolute sh*thouse (along with the other "collector's editions").

 

But, CM has done a terrific job in covering those up and building something great around it.

 

And for that, I'm willing to throw them a couple of my dollars.

Agree - it’s a shame we never got original artwork for Returns. These WWA’s are horrible but the slips are banging which saves the set.

Excited for this one - Catwoman sh*ts all over the Penguin edition in my humble opinion 🙃

Well i am not really a photographer so i tend to steer away from doing so but today i got a real nice edition from one of my favorite movies .

 

Everything shown in the pictures belong to the edition , except of course the MP Swag and the Steelbook Stand from one of Mantas releases , which by the way is really , really cool !!

 

I hope you can look through the mess in the room and just concentrate on this Gem ..... 

 

The item in the middle is a Transitional Lenticular.  I just am not good at capturing it.  

 

The Glasses gives it a "nice touch"

Good point - I just assumed that it was just the discs missing, and that the usual slip/extras would remain intact.

But it’s like a normal release but without the disc which you can pick up easily. So they’re essentially passing the saving to the collector.

Interested to see what they do with this line! Especially when you can get a lot of the discs for pretty cheap in the US, I care more about the slips/steel art/booklets.

The 2001 steel was very bland for me, prefer the original embossed Zavvi (which is the art on the FS). As for Leon, I’m growing to like the art on this one but will need to wait til it’s in-hand as to whether the switcheroo will def take place - although I do think the black and silver colour scheme of the Zavvi one (or Kimchi one) would match nicely with the FS art of the Manta.
