well limeys is an old expression and was used for americans in ww2.

if it was rude in german i was not aware of that, so sorry for that.

talking of rude to keep mentioning there are so many english in the german room, well that sort saying why are they all here?

i personally consider that rude and feel like we are not wanted by those statements. maybe im being sensitive but i thought we are all one lot now?

i wish people would think from the other point of view of the other person reading as well

but if it is prefered that im not here i can leave this room in peace if required.

I think a bit got probably lost in translation here. I'm not aware of "limey" being a swearword and even if it was shouldn't it be the English getting offended by it? But if you as an Englishman don't see any problem with it, I don't think we are to say what you should use to describe your own folk. I always thought it was the same as calling us Krauts, which at least to me isn't offending.

But you must also understand that of course you are welcome here but not everyone can speak English or is fluent enough to understand slang and such. Some use websites or similar to translate and we all know these are less than accurate. So I don't think Üdi meant for you to go away and it's just a misunderstanding / miscommunication,

  2. Nice thread!

Although I can't stand this pricky prick and his goddang band...I think this qualifies as a good MV movie with an hommage to The Shining: Morbius - The Kill

Unfortunately age-restricted on Youtube: Rammstein - Sonne

    Spoiler

Eh it doesn’t bother me, and I don’t mind the extras. I like that Manta tries to be unique, and not like everyone else. At least they communicate the problems to us unlike Blufans, or HDzeta, Cinemuseum, FA. I mean I can name more.

I second this, I am not impatient but am a lover of creative and unique design. Getting the same slips with just a slight variation from all retailers is boring to me.

Now the question is have you EVER listened to most of them? 🤨

you never heard of the sultan of swat GIF

No never heard of the little indie artists like Led Zeppelin or KISS...what you wanna tell me next that someone would name a band Deep Purple or Pink Floyd?

I am truly surprised you even included a title from this century 😛

One of the most hilarious and frustrating about that game was the multiplayer option to kiss someone.

When I was playing with friends, we would be in the middle of a shoot out and one of them would decide to press the button to start making out.

When cops (or gangs) would be shooting at us.

    Just like real life!

Pokemon games for gameboy are probably the earliest video game memories i have along with super Mario. All are excellent games.

Oh Pokemon...I got the red edition for Christmas but my brother snatched it and was playing it all the time...I was so sad since it was mine but he wouldn't give it back. A few days later my mom made "him" buy the blue edition for me. Of course she bought it but told him to give it to me as an apology.

GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS (Playstation 2) - I f*ckin' HATE that game! Trying (and failing) for the 57th time to get overweight CJ to hunt down these couriers while flying his tiny, piece of sh*t plane and getting back to the starting point before fuel runs out, was the last straw for me. Disc ejected, smashed into bits and fed to trash can 😡 Never again

I see someone had a lot of fun 😂

  8. I also remember two games I played endlessly on my mother's computer 'cause we didn't have much else:

Moorhuhn (a game which was only meant as a promotion for Jonnie Walker)

and Sven Bomwollen 😂, a game where you played a black sheep which had to shag all the other sheep without being caught by the shepherd

I love your inclusion of SH3's You're Not Here. Great song and coupled with that fabulous intro, it may just be my favorite ever opening to a video game.

The very James Bond-eseque Snake Eater is also a favorite of mine but SH3 gets the edge due to the spectacular visuals. Best looking PS2 game as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah it's a banger 😄 Love most of the soundtrack really even if some tracks are just "noise" but they fit the atmosphere so well. The game is excellent and I think has the most realistic female protagonist of any game.

    You have to.

After all, Paul Hogan (Crocodile Dundee himself) started the whole "shrimp on the barbie" stereotype in the first place. 😄

Yeah I know 😂 If I read about that right, you guys down under don't even say shrimp but prawn and he had to use shrimp because otherwise the Americans wouldn't get it

    Of course!

    The set will feature:

    1 x "Real" Knife

    1 x Didgeridoo

    1 x Shrimp

    1 x BBQ

It will be like a MAG set, but more value for your money.

Oh yeah putting some shrimps on the barbie! Good on ya!
