I can't wait for this movie to drop! Who's excited for this? What's your theories? So many details in the trailer that you miss first time viewing. This movie will be a must re-visit in the theater and 4K.

Allow me to share a story!

In the initial plan, I worked with a supplier to make a workable model of the TARS robot. It has a magnetic mechanism with 4 movable limps. A pretty good material was selected and we tested using 3D printing.

UC submitted that for approval and got it. However, the total cost of TARS is too high and UC had to drop this idea from being included into the package.

I told John about it and seeing how much time and effort I put into this item, he hopes to support and make it into a MP product!

UC is currently working on other new possible gift item to be included into the set.

 

Please allow me to shamelessly ask everyone's opinion if you guys are keen in having this collectible TARS? 😝

No need to panic, we will have these open in waves. We wanted to get some of these editions in collector's hands as fast as possible, so we closed after we had some requests. Next will be Joker and Atomic Blonde after that I think GoT & Indi second Wave, remember Limited to 100, so not all taken yet.

Definitely want my ears and eyes open on the Joker collectible! Thanks @deckard99. WIll keep yes open on GoT (minus S7 and S8 lol) and Indy (minus Shia outing) box again.

I hear you. I  despised what they did in Last Jedi. Pretty visuals and subversive trailers will not pull me in. I have learned my lesson. I refuse to buy or watch on Netflix LoJ to this day. I had such frustrations over it, to only be topped by Game of Thrones Season 8.

^  I read some spoilery stuff for RoS. I am waiting for friends and other reviews before I pluck down any $$$ for this movie.

I do need to up grate too a 4k/3d though before they go out of style. I've got an older 3D Samsung at the moment. Just hard to find unfortunately. What brand model do you have?

 

As far as combining 4k and 3d into a higher resolution I think that would require a rework of the software.  Although that'd be epic, probably never happen.

I have LG OLED ef9500. The passive 3d is at 1080P which is one of the sets to do that. I think the follwing year model was the last LG made w/ 3D. With my current set, I unfortunately don't have HDR10+ or Dolby Vision. Just HDR, 4K, 3D. I will upgrade eventually. Maybe 8K or 16K 🤣 when its reasonable enough instead of what I dropped for this 65inch beast.
