If you are not familiar with old Chinese movies, this is one of the most frightening also thought-provoking films in the history of Chinese cinema. Watched it when I was little so I almost forgot the details, but it basically tells the story of a female ghost in a building seeking revenge for a wrongful case during the Cultural Revolution. Definitely recommend if you're interested in horror films or the history of Cultural Revolution
