What was your first steelbook and if like me and your new to this. Do you think you'll stick with collecting???

Technically my first one was Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 I believe, but I didn't think much of it.  The first time I opted to specifically go for a steelbook was Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1 from Best Buy, and when I showed up 17 minutes after the store opened and they were sold out I had to figure out what the hell was going on.  That's when I learned about collecting, and since I was basically buying the movies anyway I was willing to go for the steelbook instead.  Now I'm addicted and I'll be surprised if I can quit it.

My first was HMV Planet Of The Apes .

 

Premium was HdZ Gladiator  Full Slip 

 

8 years a collector now flipping heck that has made me feel OLD  .

 

Will I stick with collecting who knows where life will take us 🤔❤.

 

The love of Movies and Physical Media I don't think I will ever loose the love for that or MP .

 

One thing I have done is concentrate my individual collections not just narrow the editions to steelbook alone .

 

I'm a sucker for a pretty slip or out of the ordinary artwork 👍❤

My first steelbook was a 1990 version of IT. I currently have 5 different artworks between the 1990 and the 2017 version and plan on sticking to only IT steelbooks for now because I go from one thing to another so much with collecting. With that said I did pre order the Everythingblu version of Halloween so I might have caught the bug hahaha

Not sure if you saw but Best Buy is releasing another IT 2017 steelbook soon, I think the artwork is similar to the UK version if I recall.

I already have it on pre order. I have a zavvi one ordered to but I'm not sure if it's exclusive or not. Hopefully it's not the same one. Thanks for the heads up though, I appreciate that

1st steel was Forza Horizon 3... I know lmao. 

1st premium was the Blufans double lenticular Doctor Strange and it’s still a favorite in my collection. After that I totally caught the steelbook bug haha. Definitely sticking to collecting (as long as the funds are still there)

My first steel was a DVD or Iron Man from FYE.  I’ve since replaced that with 2 Blufans, the Best Buy 4K and one of my grails: The Future Shop Iron Man.
