I can’t find anything anywhere else about a cancellation, I think Amazon UK is just bad about overselling pre-order items.  I hope that’s all this is, and that we still get the movie in early May.

    This was from WB:

Nevermind. Looks like Shadow beat me to it. For some reason, my posts here keep requiring a manual approval. 🤣

    “Are you alone, Mr. Gittes?”

    ”Isn’t everyone?”

Looked great on the big screen.  Just an almost perfect movie and it’s hard to nail down why, exactly, it’s almost like a magic trick.  Yeah, every performance being perfect is part of it, but it’s deeper than that.

The first time Faye Dunaway’s face fills the screen you think “oh yeah, that’s what a freaking movie star looks like.”

I love this movie so much. My Wife & I watched it for the first time last year, and we instantly fell in love with it.

So we finished the Tim Burton Remake of Willy Wonka, and it is definitely on the bottom of the 3. It is such a difference compared to the original. The multiple copies of the same the Oompa Loompas was kind of a let down, and the sarchasm of Johnny Depp was too over the top. Gene Wilder nailed it with have the right amount of tact with sarchasm which made it funny. Now for the Prequel, I absolutely loved it, and Chalamet's acting was right on point. So my ranking is the Original Willy Wonka, Chalamet's Wonka and lastly Burton's Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.

The Tim Burton remake is the only movie in my entire life where I walked out of the theater. It's terrible in so many ways.
