  7. This was from WB: Nevermind. Looks like Shadow beat me to it. For some reason, my posts here keep requiring a manual approval. 🤣
  8. That cancellation is a huge bummer. A year delay is pretty wild.

  14. I love this movie so much. My Wife & I watched it for the first time last year, and we instantly fell in love with it.
  15. The Tim Burton remake is the only movie in my entire life where I walked out of the theater. It's terrible in so many ways.
  16. With this being one of my most anticipated films of the year, my expectations were high going into the movie. Long story short, Late Night with the Devil met and sometimes exceeded those expectations. For about 10-15 years, as someone who grew up on so many horror movies thanks to my Dad being a diehard fan of the genre, I have felt most modern day horror movies have become stagnant and unoriginal. Too much focus on jump scares, gore porn, tropes, clichés, etc., and not too much focus on creativity. Hereditary, Midsommar, Get Out, The Witch, Ready or Not, A Quiet Place, and a few others I feel are shining examples of modern horror movies that really stand out from the majority of films that bathe in mediocrity. Late Night with the Devil I happily consider to be in this list, as it is a highly creative, unique and fun horror experience. The acting really carries this movie, and brings this 70's late night show to life. You seriously feel as-if you were watching a real broadcast, and it's done flawlessly. The entire cast knocked it out of the park, and as a result creates a wonderful sense of immersion into the story and what happens. With the overall theme, I cannot express enough how well the directors nailed the 70's TV show aesthetic. The cheesy jokes, the outfits, the camera aesthetic, the zoom-ins and zoom-outs, the set design, etc. It's all masterfully crafted. One thing to note: You will get a huge laugh at the beginning, as for some reason there are 9 studio logos back-to-back. It's a bit absurd for an indie film, but still great for a chuckle. Late Night with the Devil is easily one of the best horror movies I have seen in years, and cannot recommend this wild ride enough.
