I remember first seeing this film as a little kid when my mom and I went to the movies. she wanted to see this I wanted to see james and the giant peach. my movie started after hers so I got to see a good portion before going to the next theater room over to watch my film and it terrified me. it wasn't until many years later in my 20's did I decided to watch this film in whole for the first time.

finally getting caught up on this....I know shame shame.

The G1 transformers were solid. I liked their look over the look of the prior films with the exception of bumble bee. the maximals were decent but lacking the weapons they had in the beast wars series. like optimus primal in the series had flight capabilities by use of his own internal jet pack not to mention he had shoulder and wrist cannons and swords. Rhinox had dual Gatling pistols and then no Rattrap he was completely left out but I guess having a giant rat running around on screen would have been a stretch.

I've only seen the first three. Personally I feel the first one is the best out of the gate Vigo Mortensen as Lucifer was spot on. The 2nd Christopher Walken has more funny one liners but still very good as Gabriel. The third just my honest opinion the story gets a bit messy and I felt it didn't bring the same quality of the 2nd let alone 1st film but understandable. I didn't even know there was a 4th and 5th film, now I have to put aside some time to find and watch those. With that being said I'd still buy a trilogy of the films together. -

Happy to have these in now. I remember how quick the TCM set sold out and the crazy asking prices that soon followed same thing now with Hellraiser.

Having grown up watching G1 transformers and Beast Wars (still hits me in the feels with how dinobot went out) I was not expecting to be blown away but it was ok.
