Bob Dylan Bootleg Series Vol. 17 "Fragments", featuring an "un-produced" version of the album, Time Out of Mind, and outtakes, live versions, etc. from that time period (1996-2000). Utterly fantastic....

Ohhh… we got a new player in town 😃
Sadly, it is not Licence To Kill.
Don’t despair though, you got only 19 more films to choose from 😉
Damnit… I thought for sure that’s when Felix is hanging by his hands and the sharks are ready to get him.

Can I just say that I have been absolutely *salivating* over the potential of what this set will look like in-hand?! OMFG, it looks to be incredible! As one who missed out on the other big premium editions (especially these three: Filmarena Maniacs, UHD Club, and Blufans), I cannot *wait* to get this thing!!!!
Maybe John will have the other three One-click thingies for me to buy at some point soon....

Howdy folks from the vast expanses of the Wild West of the USA!
I'm a retired teacher. Though I'm a life-long movie fan, what I don't know about Cinema scares me--my knowledge is nuttin' compared to many of you out there! My tastes are all over the place, but some favorites include many Film Noir titles from the 1940's and 50's, and more mainstream things like JAWS, BLADE RUNNER (both, of course!), the ALIEN saga, and the STAR WARS saga. I've just started exploring the Marvel Universe (via the correct timeline!)
Physical media-wise, I have over 2500 movies/videos. Favorite companies whose titles I compulsively and obsessively collect include Criterion, British Film Institute (BFI), studiocanal, Eureka, Arrow, Powerhouse/Indicator, Via Vision/Imprint, Flicker Alley, the Film Noir Foundation, Vinegar Syndrome, and last but not least, Kino Lorber (who are true wonders on this side of the pond with their vast catalogue of more obscure titles). Regardless of streaming, I do pick up many 4K UHD titles now because nothing will ever beat the uncompressed quality of physical media for the ultimate playback experience. I love the premium sets that are famously covered by the Group Buys here and have started collecting a number of them.
I am truly overwhelmed by the MP cosmos, there is so much to learn here, so many things going on here. Because of that I tend to be more of a lurker rather than direct contributor--mostly because others can express my thoughts more eloquently and most often *do*. I do read threads and offer little badges for posts (yeah!)--but I'm much better at one-on-one conversations than group amplification of my thoughts. I'll work on that....

P.S. for those that want to know, a Manticore is a mythical beast with the head of a man, body of a lion, and tail of a scorpion.

Finally had time to pick up my copy of Sorcerer and give this masterpiece another go:
It has been a few years since I last saw it but I have to say, I enjoy it more with every viewing.
What I like most is the fact that Friedkin gives us no good guys to root for.
On the contrary, the sequences in the beginning make it clear that we are dealing with bad and rotten man here.
A daring approach because even nowadays I m sure you ll loose at least half of the audience if you dont give
them a simple black and white picture or at least someone with a redeeming factor. Friedkin denies us that and
it suits the movie well and it really doesnt matter.
All that matters is the task the men have ahead, the gritty realism in which the story is told and the fatalism in which it ends,
with death always lurking.
It reminds me a lot of Herzogs best works like Aguirre or Fitzcarraldo, all movies impossible to make nowadays and thus even more precious today.
Sorcerer is a 9/10 for me.
As others have noted, if you've never seen the original upon which SORCERER is based, Henri Georges Clouzot's 1953 film, WAGES OF FEAR (English title, film is in French), you really owe it to yourself. It's fantastic, too!

@Manticore4 I saw you requested the Dune Ultimate EDition, that edition is no longer available. Also German Retailer GB is long closed. Can you let me know how you made the request. It seems we forgot to delete a link.
Shoot… I just clicked on a general link with the GB green button to request it. When I get on my laptop, I’ll try to retrace those steps for you. Sorry about all this! Maybe I can find a copy on The Bay?? -
