I saw, what I had to pay for the Jurassic Park boxes (not even wooden boxes!)...well, that was almost the double of my Blade Runner 2049 wooden box.

 

The quality of the wooden boxes are nice, never said otherwise, but the increases of the price is way to expensive for me.

 

Just simply can't afford it anymore!

It's a two months rent for me. 🙈

@javi I agree, this hobby is getting a little bit out of hand and sometimes is not as fun as it used, just an addition to a collection if you have collection or collections that you like as I do. It is getting a little bit expensive and almost a luxury for some of the releases. I’m personally looking at cutting (stop collecting) some of the collections, specially the newer or cancelled ones (sell them). It is getting pricy and sometimes is lacking the excitement, innovation, uniqueness and quality from few years ago when I started collecting steelbooks…

Interestingly this release was voted, before we even had it available in-hand, multiple winner of the "2022 - Media Psychos Awards", I hope that when we finally have the release available (I'm still waiting for mine) and these issues, won't change the opinion of the people who voted for it. I was just wondering how can we vote and choose a winner release if we did not get them yet? How I'm suppose to decide that it is a good/great release if I did not see it? How did we judge that, looking at the pictures? I'm jut wondering how we were expecting to select a contender before we have it in hand? Just a thought! Thanks..

Thank you very much to my MP Secret Santa 😀! Finally I'm back home and had a chance to open my presents. Very thoughtful of @Rambo (Zach) for the Christmas Card, the letter, and the gifts which included a Collectible Limited Edition RoboCop Mondo Poster, a bittersweet life NOVA Exclusive NE A14 w/Lenticular SlipCover (which I did not have as part of my collection 😉) and a Collectible Avatar Figurine from Jake Sully. Finally; after 135 pages, three intermittent extra days for a total of 4.5 hours!; I will say that this was BRUTAL, for real. I kept seeing them coming and hunting them. At the end, after looking through and unhiding and expanding some hundreds of posts, and some with sexual connotations unrelated to movies or movie collection, I was able to find 25 bunnies from day 5; but after all I never found the golden bunny. Spent hours looking at the English men pages and posts, looked at the hunter of replicas posts as well and almost all over other pages on the site without any luck. It was fun but it was brutal. I  really enjoyed the bunny hunting. I’m looking forward for next year’s hunting season!!!

Ok, after 189 pages, three intermittent days for a total of 6.5 hours!; as I said, this was BRUTAL! I saw them coming and hunt them. At the end, somehow and ended up catching 38 bunnies; do not ask how, but I found 38 of them, I thought that was only 33 of them; LOL. And already found the first one for Day 5; 132 pages - 128 more to go! Enjoy the hunting season, have fun!!!
