I think the print run was set to 300 OC when GB started. Now it´s 400. And CM is now planning single editions as well. There is hope that MP might get some additional OCs and single editions and re-open the GB. On the other hand the demand will be higher with a 4k disc included.  All this will push the release to 2023.

Ken @deckard99 will let us know when he has some more information on this! Good luck!

Thanks for the info! I'll have alerts on this thread, so I'm hoping I can catch it if it happens.

  2. Challenge #6:

    D: Dunkirk

    A: Aquaman

    M: The Martian

    S: Sicario

    H: Heat

    I: Insomnia

    P: The Prestige

    S: The Shining

Meaning: When I was a kid, my sister brought us back some souvenirs from the Hoover Dam. She got me a shirt that simply read “dam ships”. It was a play on words for ‘Ships at the dam’ and “Damn ships!”. Ever since then, I’ve always used it as a screen name for everything (gaming, forums, usernames). Not an incredible insightful story, but now you know! Lol

  3. I was going to see Halloween Ends in theatres due to it being Curtis' final portrayal in the series, but after hearing about the polarization on this entry too, I might just watch it at home. I'll fire up my LG C1 and make some popcorn. Hopefully it's a decent flick.

I'll just use my movie ticket on Barbarian this weekend instead as I heard it's awesome. 😁

  4. Challenge #5:

    1) KimchiDVD Memento

I had made it my goal to collect all of Christopher Nolan’s steelbooks. There was a standard steelbook for Memento that I just didn’t like, but then I saw the KimchiDVD version and I had to have it. Didn’t get the slip with it on Mercari, but I was excited to snag it and began researching premium edition of movies!

#2) The Dark Knight HDZETA DL

This is where I started spending like a mad-man. 😅 I found someone on a site who was incredibly nice and was selling the HDZeta DLs! They started teaching me about how GBs worked and I began assembling the entire HDZETA Motherbox Set. They helped me a lot!!! And also thanks to John, I was able to complete my collection after he found me some OC Boxes and a Motherbox!

    3) Dune Manta Lab DL

My first completed DL on Media Psychos after I gained an understanding on how all of this worked!!!

    4) Joker Manta Lab

As I was assembling the HDZETA Motherbox, I couldn’t resist this one! 😬🤪

    5) The Dark Knight UHD CLUB

I told myself that I would not get anything outside of steel books. But, I’m a sucker for The Dark Knight. This came up and I had to get it. I need to calm down on my TDK purchases. 😂

And that’s my story!!! I’ve been here a little less than a year now and my wallet hurts. 😂😂😂

Hammer Horror Classics, Volume One (Blu-ray)

An excellent adaptation of The Mummy with the great Christopher Lee as Kharis and the great Peter Cushing as an archaeologist… the Hammer sets are fantastic, love this version!

So funny, I was pondering about watching some Christopher Lee movies and thought about Dracula and Mummy. Then I see you post this lol.

  6. Sorry, I've been so busy with work to participate! But I was thankfully able to gather up some titles for this Challenge tonight!

    1) Interstellar (Manta Lab OC Box): I love the artwork design. The ship, which is massive in and of itself, is almost swallowed by the even larger black hole. Love it!

    2) Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Steelbook: The 1966 Cadillac Coup De Ville. Freaking love this car so much. My friend has one in baby blue and it's such a timeless car!

    3) Bad Boys For Life 4K: 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. This thing is not only gorgeous to look at, but also has such incredible performance and handling. Not surprised they went back to the Porsche instead of the Ferrari from Part 2.

    4) The Dark Knight (HDZETA OC Box): The BAD POD! You guys knew I had to do one Dark Knight mention, right? lol

    5) Blade Runner: 2049: K's Car: This thing is too freaking sexy. If someone could make a model that drove on the street, I'm pretty sure I'd buy it in a heartbeat...assuming it didn't cost a fortune lol.

Great job with the challenge this week! I enjoyed it!

I agree with films. There have only been a very small number of films that I've suffered through, turned off, walked out, etc. Elvis was one of them :( but that was more in the "when will this end" category and not the walk out category.

There are MANY more instances in other aspects of life though...

Oh man. Wife wants to see Elvis. I just have a weird feeling that I wont enjoy it lol, but the trailer looks great!

I have a feeling Mean Girls won't be appreciated by many outside of the US. It's just one of those stupid films with A LOT of quotable lines.

I understand seeing something different as well. I RARELY venture into the horror genre but, after hearing so many positive things about Jordan Peele, decided to see Nope on opening weekend because I was craving something outside of my usual interests. I wound up really liking it and have since seen "Us" as well. I actually like that one even more. So, that single venture has caused me to explore some of the more popular titles like "The Thing" - something I never really envisioned myself doing.

Such is life though, right? We stay within our comfort zones fearing anything different because of anxiety, rumors, assumptions, stereotypes, etc. Then, due to a number of various catalysts, we occasionally step outside of that zone. Many times we may regret it, but it's easily balanced out by that one time you discover something new that hits you just the right way.

For the most part, I rarely regret stepping out of my comfort zone with films. It's typically pretty rewarding!
