Not sure I wouldn’t take this as gospel, you never know what’s going to happen.

A lot of these videos are click bait, and they always think they have the scoop. It will probably be a couple years before we here anything.

Agreed. You never know. But certainly, rights issues are different for different countries. (Example: UK was able to put out blu ray set of NORTHERN EXPOSURE with the original music, whereas the U.S. could not. Rights clearances were much easier in UK).

I wouldn't worry I dont think to many people will want this. Believe it or not these are still somewhat obscure titles and i personally didnt care for either imo.

    You must be very young.

Bram Stoker's Dracula was very big film. It was the 12th highest grossing movie of 1992. (ahead of Unforgiven, Hook, A Few Good Men, etc.)

It is the polar opposite of 'obscure'.

Agree, love the cat and love the box for the OC probably better than the movie. 😆  At this point I figure if there is a so so movie, the premium will be a stunner, so much for buying premiums based on the movie quality.  And that is the truth.

That DOES happen. I have a few premiums for movies I really don't like - but mainly because it was in a series.

my hope is that someone makes a code kitty that has leds, lighting the code from inside. The more I thought about it - the more I remembered how Glow in the dark paint really only glows for a short period (and not very brightly). LEDs from the inside would be much more stunning.

  4. I would hope the majority of members appreciate what you do, John. It certainly isn't hard to figure out that so many cost factors are out of your control.

I for one, am grateful for your work and your service. Without GBs we would only have access to these at HUGELY inflated prices on the secondary market.

When I started collecting steelbooks back in the day, John was one of the first GB hosts I encountered (on a few different sites, before he started MP) - and he has never been anything but fair, honest, and transparent.
Venting spleen on him or any others here because of the state of the economy is not cool. It's happening everywhere. Hell, now if I buy something at Amazon UK - they want £12 for shipping a blu ray! At the moment, the hobby is more expensive than it used to be. That's just the way it is.

and it CERTAINLY isn't John's fault.

Please remember that he is supplying a great service.
I stupidly missed the GB for the Manta Lab DUNE. Ended up having yo go to ebay. Paid almost 3 times the price.

without GBs, it would be that way ALWAYS.

    Anyway...That's my two cents.

    thanks, John. Appreciate you brother.👍

Another empty back smh.  I forgot if it was @C.C. 95 who mentioned spine magnets but not a bad idea.  FYI the cheapest these are available is at FNAC.  Although not sure what kind of shape they will arrive in when all 9 or 10 are shipped together in a box with no wrapping surrounding them.  They are also available from Cede.com (more expensive but each sent in its own cardboard mailer if purchased separately and usually arrive safe), Amazon italy (no experience with), and I reached out and my favorite retailer DVD-Store.IT also will have these.  I plan to purchase there once they list them, as their shipping is topnotch. Does cost more for shipping, however, so not the cheapest option.  Zavvi likely is one of the most expensive (they used to send each individually but now I have heard they send steelbooks in the same order together in a box, butbm who knows).  Either way many options if wanting to purchase these.

Yeah- the seller on etsy is is called steelbookspines- but she makes full cover magnets for whatever steelbook you may need it for.
