What was the criteria for qualifying for this "early bird" pricing? And can we expect the same in the future? I assume this would also be for BN only as well if anything?

IDK about TDK trilogy since mine haven't arrived yet but I can relate to the issue with picture quality with UHD Club. The Inception Lenti by them is very pixelated and Gladiator was terrible as well. The lenti ideas are actually quite nice, I just think the execution is lackluster.

I feel a lil bitter havinf to raise my voice on these otherwise excellent editions but I don't think I will start sugarcoating even though I pay lots of money. It is the front image after all.

 

I am hopeful UHD Club will improve over time. Their products are innovative and good. Just not on the level of other retailers.

 

My opinion.

ya u pretty got the same idea; build quality, form factor, and amount of extras is enough to make up for my issues of low pq to make this purchase an overall satisfying purchase.

So you are saying that the Boxset itself is great. The lenticulars are great.

poor picture quality. good build quality. and the ratio of of the two are in such a way I that satisfies me. that sums it up? I'm not an Asian street worker looking to give 100% satisfaction.

I wonder though, I received it with 3 lenticular cardboards separated from the box, but twice the same from "Batman Begins", and another one from "The Dark Knight Rises", no lenticular for "The Dark Knight". Is it normal ? Were they given randomly in the boxes ?

Mine were 2x Begins and 1x DK.

The Lentis are great and very responsive, but I'm disappointed in the overall picture quality on almost everything. But I'm totally satisfied with the thing as a whole.

I can only hope. But in my experience, I've been getting my releases MONTHS after they appear on social and on the Bay of E unfortunately.

I'm waiting for this "good things happen to people who wait" thing to come true. Meanwhile I have friends living a couple of hours from me receiving theirs months ago. I sure hope "good things" pays out with interest.

There seems to be a lot of activity going on here. I'm kind of afraid to miss an important announcement regarding the timing while scrolling through the many incoming posts.

That's fair. The way it is at the moment, its a game of chance, and that doesn't sit right with me.

As far as I know, admins gave warning to when memberships were going to roughly go up. I assumed it was first come first serve at that point (after previous tiers secured).

I myself believe in the "early bird gets the worm" mentality and I spent the day refreshing page constantly until I saw it up and was able to snag gold during my this previous cycle. Luckily being the day after I was introduced to this place. Now I'm assuming a good number of people that were not tiers prior also was able to grab membership; I don't pretend to know otherwise so I'll have to make that assumption.

I understand your ideals that loyalty to them should possibly stand for something and i wish it was easy to accommodate, but that's just not how the world works I'm afraid. This isn't exactly a huge multi million dollar operation and the logistics of both satisfying current tiers as well as non tiered loyalty would he a nightmare and I assume they would have to pick their poison. Besides, if you believe that many tiered members are grabbing membership for status then that still leaves the GBs open and available and even in that case it still becomes first come first serve anyway.

I may have had things to say about this place over the months that may seem like slight jabs here and there, but ultimately I appreciate what they've done for the physical media community.

Just my opinion.
