I wouldn't even call the in-universe explanation good, it just makes the Doctor look like a huge pervert. Which he kinda is tbh (ironically he's my #2), but yeah that's at least something over no reason for the Vulcan uniform to be so tight-fitting. And then eventually those jumpsuits T'Pol starts wearing, which are technically classified as casual duty attire. I don't know why they didn't just put her in the standard Starfleet uniform, it's not like Hoshi is wearing a potato sack and you can't see her figure. T'Pol looked great the one out of two times she wore one!

It's funny how they implemented the same idea for Enterprise, and once again their blatant attempt at sex appeal (much worse this time) resulted in a fantastic character in spite of them. I love T'Pol, who is my #3

Good choice, Seven is my #4. Even with all the problems I have with the Borg post-TNG, she was an excellent addition with tons of great stories. Not too shabby for a "Borg babe"... Thanks Berman and Braga, your idea didn't suck!

This will probably be a very unpopular opinion, but I have not liked a single piece of art for Oppenheimer. Not him standing in the mushroom cloud, or watching the Trinity test, or standing in front of the bomb, any of it. Because it is all overbearingly ORANGE. It's like the Batman Begins art, it's just so goddamn ugly with all the ORANGE. Because of the ORANGE, I wasn't planning on getting any release, probably not even Manta.

But I broke down and finally pulled the trigger on this one, because it is less ORANGE. There's still some ORANGE of course, but the art isn't dominated by it. I actually really adore the spine, and the interrogation room is pretty good, before it transitions into more ORANGE.

I did love all the pink in Barbie, the superior movie.

And if they do steels for the other three 40th anniversaries, and even circle back to the first two, will they follow this motif and have other characters' heads displayed prominently? It can't be the rest of the crew, someone would be left behind. You could do Khan, Sybok/God and Chang I guess. Ilia for TMP, and Kirk because he needs to be on a cover and who else would even be chosen for Voyage Home? Gillian? The whales?

The doldrums are almost over. The final season of Disco is a few weeks away, Prodigy season 2 will release this year (thank you Netflix!), SNW season 3 is currently filming, and Lower Decks season 5 is on the way. Also in production are the Section 31 movie, and the upcoming Starfleet Academy show.

The only show of this new era to have ended is Picard, it's been nearly a year since the finale.

How is everyone feeling about all of these movies and shows on the horizon?

I'm not trying to be demeaning to my fellow psychos about their investigative abilities, but personally I found the Hulk one the easiest so far. It took me about 20 minutes while at work.

Out of all the D+ shows to get steels so far, I'll make an exception for Andor. It still has that stupid design the others have, but it's not as terrible and the show is just so goddamn good. I'd rather get a CE release of this than Mando tbh
