What's the goofiest thing they've done outside of the musical and crossover? The body swap episode and the fairy tale episode? The musical is the only truly "out there" thing the entire franchise has ever done, and I don't want it to become a trend "just cuz". All I'm trying to say is that some restraint doesn't hurt.

Why don't why go even more meta than Far Beyond the Stars while we're at it, the characters can interact with their actors. We can invite fans onto the show to openly thirst after Pike so he becomes uncomfortable. CGI Roddenberry can interact with them. Being extremely meta has never ever been a bad idea or overused!

At this point, is there a genre that “Strange New Worlds” can’t do? “As long as we’re in storytelling that is cogent and sure handed, I’m not sure there is,” Goldsman says with an impish smile. “Could it do Muppets? Sure. Could it do black and white, silent, slapstick? Maybe!”

I see a problem, why haven't I received my good boy points for pointing out my score was too high last time? What is the point of being honest if you don't get rewarded?

Best Buy Best Buy 4K Steelbook Masterlist
InfiniteDoors replied to ShadowWarrior's topic in Best Buy
It would almost be worth it, if every Walmart ever weren't a cesspool of human filth and sickening indecency -
I saw that article earlier, it was such a non-answer I don't know why TrekMovie even bothered. Well I do know, they are clickbait half the time and will write around the smallest morsel of info, the shortest of quotes, and the vaguest of tweets. I'll admit that I liked Disco more once it stopped being a prequel. Not that it immediately got better—the cause of the Burn was so goddamn stupid—but Season 4 was solid enough for the show. But having Starfleet Academy, a very old and very terrible idea, spinoff from the 32nd century? Why. Picard S3 has practically the same setup (lack of Starfleet officers), but much closer to home. And Section 31 will most likely be crap, no matter the timeframe.

I forgot to mention this yesterday, but whoever chose a Creator Era beauty shot with that number of edits is a sick, sick b@stard. A twisted son of a b!tch with a heart of coal and ice. A real mother4ucker for the ages. In other words,

But seriously, I would probably say.... well I'd have to choose between Lorca, Saru, Admiral Vance, David Cronenberg, Laris, Jankom Pog, and..... Hologram Janeway.

There's plenty of other examples, even before Seven showed up. That being said, I can't wait for Prodigy Season 2 when he finally shows up after all these years

I wouldn't even call the in-universe explanation good, it just makes the Doctor look like a huge pervert. Which he kinda is tbh (ironically he's my #2), but yeah that's at least something over no reason for the Vulcan uniform to be so tight-fitting. And then eventually those jumpsuits T'Pol starts wearing, which are technically classified as casual duty attire. I don't know why they didn't just put her in the standard Starfleet uniform, it's not like Hoshi is wearing a potato sack and you can't see her figure. T'Pol looked great the one out of two times she wore one! All of the main characters, and Data is #8.

It's funny how they implemented the same idea for Enterprise, and once again their blatant attempt at sex appeal (much worse this time) resulted in a fantastic character in spite of them. I love T'Pol, who is my #3
