  1. Challenge 19: “Through the Decades - a Cinematic Journey”

    The Godfather: 1972

It’s my second favourite movie of all time, my first time watching it completely blew me away and from that point this movie set the bar for what I call a good movie.

    Back to the Future: 1985

Just a bunch of good childhood memories really with this one.

    Perfect Blue: 1997

This was just a rollercoaster of a movie, went into this knowing nothing and finished the movie like 😮.

    5 Centimetres Per Second: 2007

Simply beautiful animation from the great director Makoto Shinkai.

    Hell or High Water: 2016

My second favourite of the Frontier Trilogy, Chris Pine & Ben Foster were absolutely perfect for this movie.

As for what is my favourite cinematic decade, now that’s tough. This requires some serious sit down time for me to see everything I like and from what decade they are from, I’ll reply back to this post once I figure out the answer.

  2. Challenge 18: Merchandi$ing! Where the real Money from the Movie is Made

    1: The Godfather

The top was a gift from a uncle this XMas that just went. Next to it is the new 4K steel of The Godfather

    2: Blade Runner 2049

I absolutely adore this AMP and when I saw that there was a restock I just had to get it after I missed the original release. Next to it is the FAC release of Blade Runner 2049.

    3: Rogue One

Rogue One in my opinion is the best Star Wars movie to have been released after the original trilogy so I just had to get a Funko of Jyn. Next to it is the Blufans FS.

    4: Tron Legacy

Now I’ve had this mug since I was either 10 or 11 years old and next month I’ll be 23 and I still use it everyday 😅

    5: The Simpsons Movie

The miniature statue you see of Homer Simpson I’ve had for as long as I can remember. I want to say I got it when I was either 4 or 5 years old. I definitely know it was purchased from HMV, I use to have a big collection or other characters, however I moved around a lot as a kid and in the process it appears all of them got misplaced expect this one so this for me definitely holds a special place and reminds me of the original house I grew up in.

Wow, this looks amazing.  Nice low number, too.   I ask this question of everyone who collects posters . . . how do you display them?  I think they look great, but always hesitate to buy because I don't know what to do with them.  I have a nice little vintage lobby card collection and they just sit in a drawer.

Me personally I haven’t displayed any of my collection yet, they are still in the tubes which they were delivered in. But when I move out and get my own property I definitely plan on framing them.
