Well my fellow Members, I missed the first challenge and - just as with No. 2 - I just made it right before the gate closes (but try to keep up...) Therefore here now my contribution for CHALLENGE # 3 First of all, kudos to the many participants who contributed such really great extras ! I do not own so many specials - that's because when I started collecting premiums, I initially only bought Steelbooks (in Slips or quarter slips) and gradually added empty boxes. It's only since joining MP that I've become a true One-Click-Maniac, so it'll be a while before I'll have such an amazing collection of extras as many of you already do (a fact that this challenge has proved !) So here is my humble contribution: 1. CLOTH PATCH from the German TURBINE MEDIA DeLuxe Edition (Cover A) of John Carpenters's THE THING As this Movie is one of my all time favorites, this special had to be presented here again. • 2. METAL STICKER included in the fantastic WeET One Click of MARVEL STUDIOS BLACK PANTHER This edition showed early on that a new star had risen in the premium media firmament with this retailer... • 3. LOGO BATCH in the Blufans Fanbox of SPIDER-MAN Far from Home At first I was a little disappointed to have to decide on the fan box in order to be able to secure the steel, since it is still unclear whether there will be an OC later. But in the end this nice logo batch presented here made me satisfied (the steelbook is an outstanding beauty anyway) so that in the end I didn't regret buying the fan box. • FINALLY AN ENCORE... (because I regard THE CAT that was delivered as an addition to THE MATRIX RESURRECTIONS One-Click-Box to be a quite funny goodie) • And - as always - I hope that You and Your eyes enjoyed my pictures

Wow my fellow members ... so many gorgeous Editions ! I'll still try to prove myself worthy of this challenge. However, I can't help but use, at least in two cases, the same editions already presented by Eli and other members (to compensate, I gave my best to give extra care in creating the photos). It's really hard to pick particular favorites - these include the HDZeta Dark Knight Trilogy and many, many more. But I've picked a few specials that are standout editions of my collection in one way or another. • Let's start with the Edition that has remained my absolute grail in terms of the OC Box to this day: BATMAN v SUPERMAN HDZeta Gold Label One Click Box • Second one is a favorite not because of the Steelbook - (which is also nice, because the appearance of the artwork used corresponds to the rough character of the movie) - but especially because the full slip is something extraordinary in that it was made translucent (which results in some special lighting options, as the following photos show): DREDD Novamedia Fullslip ... and the Steel: • Then we have the European Release of a Classic of my childhood. A movie that carries the enthusiasm of the films of the 80s, whose deeply human message was foremost that together, close friends can achieve any good thing. The Edition is fantastic and the amazing Steelbook has embossings on both sides. THE GOONIES CINEMUSEUM EXCLUSIVE #03 One Click Box and together as one...: • The Non-Steelbook Premium HAS to be this one (sorry Eli - but there is no way NOT choosing it too). No words needed to describe it's beauty - the pictures speak for themselves. BLADE RUNNER UHD Club Wooden Box • And here the second Edition that was already posted by @R1s1ngs0n. However, it is one of my absolute favorites - and as Eli had already said perfectly, it is a real work of art down to the last detail. I just had to dedicate a few more photos to this veritable Grail. PAN'S LABYRINTH TheOn #002 One Click Box • These were "the Five". May I be allowed to present a last treasure (outside the competition), although I have already showed an edition of HDZeta with BvS. But this one - which is definitely one of my all time favorites - proves what great works of art this retailer can create (which gives me hope for Lord of the Rings...) THE TERMINATOR HDZeta Gold Label and in combination with the One Click Box: but that's enough for today... Anyway - I hope You and Your eyes enjoy!

I know, I know @Masterblaster ... not really an "officially authorized" MP-Design-Product, huh? But was so happy about the new Group Buy additions that spontaneously had to create a free advertising contribution 😎 - and in the end I had to bow to this impulse, against which I was simply powerless 😇 And oh, Hooray! ... FINALLY I found reason a to whine about something (and just when I was about to give up hope that the opportunity would ever arise...) LOL Because: Poor, poor Frank still has to design his own MP-Stickers just because the world is cruel and he hasn't got one single MP Coin or Membership card yet to present on his Fotos ... ( ⬆️ sublimely hidden, barely noticeable hint )

Every time I receive a a foam protection packet with this tape wrapped around, I get excited like a kid And this week it happened again: Another Manta Lab happy ending thanks to the great work of the MP crew ! And here it is... Although I was disappointed that it was apparently not possible to emboss the sometimes extremely thin sections of the fonts and Manta therefore completely dispensed with it, the Steelbook turned out much better than I had initially feared. But step by step... T H E M A T R I X RESURRECTIONS Manta Lab One Click As You can see, you can't see the details when You are a "Sealed only"-Collector, but You can rely on me - as always I'll do the task (at least for the most part) for You 😎 Let's begin with the Box Included are The Double Lenticular Slip (not opened yet) ... and the Full Slip Instead of the usual third slip, this time there is a "premium" in the form of a cat with glow in the dark effect: Alright, enough kidding... The cat is sent separately as Manta wasn't happy with the result so they had a new production made. A quality related approach that is already typical of Manta this is really praiseworthy; not least because the company always keeps its customers up to date! But let's take a closer look on the Full Slip... ... and the Steelbook After, as mentioned, the embossing had to be dispensed with for technical reasons, Manta at least came up with something in terms of the surface finish - a reflective layer in the form of a matrix code was incorporated, which produces a nice effect under the appropriate lighting conditions (here I am still experimenting): Of course there are also character and postcards • Finally, the overall picture of the usual presentation in my showroom (OC box with book spine and steel book) As always, I hope You and Your eyes enjoyed it. • And next time - since I was able to acquire a special edition (in addition to the existing editions of this cult film) last week: The previously announced A K I R A S P E C I A L so I hope there's enough reason to stay tuned...

I start with a WWA Steelbook, which I was fortunately able to get hold of last week, although most retailers in Germany informed their clients - one day before the date of release (!) - that the majority of the pre-orders cannot be fulfilled... Will die ohnehin üble Stimmung eigentlich nicht noch mehr verdunkeln... Aber zum Trost - das gleiche Fiasko spielt sich bei "den Anderen" ab - hatte das 4K UHD Steel (Line Look) im MediaMarkt Onlineshop gefühlsmäßig eine Sekunde (!) nach dortiger Verfügbarkeit bestellt - trotzdem: 1 Tag vor Erscheinen Stornierungsmail von MM (hatte ich zuvor noch bei keiner anderen Bestellung) mit dem Hinweis: "sind nicht MEHR lieferbar..." ??! Des Fasses Krone: Im Betreff bedankt sich MM noch brav für den Einkauf... Bei Saturn oder MM im Markt vor Ort? Offenbar bei keinem (!) in Deutschland. Als wär's exklusiv für die Piraten-Scalper produziert... Schöne neue Vertriebswelt!

Das Folgende bitte nur jene lesen, die and den politischen Aspekten um sich greifender, gesetzlichen Vorgaben für Filmproduktionen und das dies unterstützende öffentliche Klima interessiert sind - alle anderen am besten direkt an den Schluss springen • @Mithrandir2320 Mein Beitrag war kein Angriff auf Minderheiten - ich habe selbst in meinem Scherztext sowohl von Minderheiten als auch andere Gruppen gesprochen (von wegen Frauen Minderheit - statistisch bilden sie, wie auch mir bekannt, die Mehrheit) - UND - es war auf Filme bezogen. Aber da der Topf nun einmal aufgemacht wurde - und zugleich einen mittelbaren Angriff auf die ehrenvollen Absichten der Sprecher darstellt, muss Gegenrede gestattet sein, wie es sich in einer Demokratie gehört (wir sind ja schließlich nicht in Russland ) Deine Ansicht ist differenziert und von gutem Willen beseelt. Doch guter Wille der Nichtbetroffenen löst nicht die Probleme der Betroffenen - manchmal schafft er ganz neue Problemfelder, die keiner wollte und die leider niemand auch nur annähernd kommen sah. Denn gerade weil all das - fast reflexartig und selbst auf eine Parodie hin - im heutigen Kontext sofort zur Sprache kommen "muss", weil sich jeder sofort aufgerufen fühlt politisch korrekte Äußerungen tätigen zu müssen, darin erkenne ich ein Problem. Mein Beitrag war einzig eine sarkastische Überspitzung die allein auf die Tatsache abstellte, dass es - beispielsweise in Großbritannien mithin gesetzlich vorgeschrieben - zwischenzeitlich unmöglich ist, Quotenbesetzungen in Filmen nicht einzuhalten und somit die künstlerische Gestaltung in moraldiktatorischer Weise eingeschränkt ist. Eine Vielzahl filmischer Kunstwerke wären unter diesen Voraussetzungen schlicht nicht entstanden. Nicht quotierte Sichtweisen werden damit also faktisch unmöglich gemacht - ihnen wird tatsächlich der Raum entzogen. Das aber ist die Abkehr von der für die Demokratie lebenswichtigen Wettstreit unterschiedlicher Sichtweisen. Unsere Verfassung stellt das übrigens heraus. Es "...darf niemand wegen seines Geschlechtes, seiner Abstammung, seiner Rasse, seiner Sprache, seiner Heimat und Herkunft, seines Glaubens, seiner religiösen oder politischen Anschauungen benachteiligt oder bevorzugt werden." Das Wort "Rasse" ist, wie man sieht auch kein böses Wort, sondern ein Begriff, den das Grundgesetz in Artikel 3 zum Schutz der diesem Begriff unterfallenden Normadressaten verwendet, weil es beschreibender und ebengerade NICHT diffamierender Natur ist. Denn: Definiere ich keine Zugehörigkeit, kann ich die Betroffenen auch nicht vor der Diskriminierung AUFGRUND der an diese Zugehörigkeit gebundenen Merkmale schützen. Eine unterschwellige Moraldiktatur war nun zwar Merkmal vieler Epochen. Aber es ist ein gefährliches und sehr wirkmächtiges Instrument, das regelmäßig missbraucht worden ist. Eine solche existierte im Mittelalter und sie ist heute wieder gefährlich nahe. Die Folgen sind seit einiger Zeit u.a. im juristischen Bereich besonders spürbar. Die zunehmende Konzentration auf die Rechte von Opfern blendet nämlich aus, dass es die Aufgabe des Strafverfahrens sein sollte, zunächst zu klären, ob es eine Tat und ein Opfer überhaupt gibt. Denn ein Zeuge, der einen Beschuldigten wahrheitswidrig einer Handlung bezichtigt ist selbst der Täter. Aufgrund der überbordenden Bemühungen des Opferschutzes, sind solche Straftaten aber kaum noch aufzuklären. So wird die Beschuldigung leicht bereits zur Verurteilung und die Unschuldsvermutung verkommt zur hohlen Floskel. Wehe dem unbescholtenen Bürger, der in die Fänge einer Justiz gerät, die "den Opfern" helfen will - denn dann wird die schnell vergessen, dass die Hypothese die erst zu beweisen ist, als Tatsache festgeschrieben wird - und das ist das Ende des Rechts. Welcher Ungeist aufgrund moraldiktatorisch in den sozialen Kontext eingebetteter Zwänge bereits um sich greift, macht das Beispiel deutlich, als einer Frau, die nicht mit dunkler Hautfarbe geboren wurde, die Teilnahme an einer Demonstration versagt werden sollte, weil sie eine afrikanische Frisur trug, ohne mit schwarzer Haut geboren worden zu sein. Geschehen in Deutschland 2022. Natürlich waren es zudem hellhäutige Menschen, welche über die Gefühle der dunkelhäutigen Menschen disponierten... In der Tat - wir sind noch nicht weit gekommen. Und Übrigens - wenn man von "diesen Leuten" spricht, würde einer von "diesen" Leuten leicht denken, dass der Sprecher zu jenen gehört, die zwar unbedingt für die Rechte "dieser" Leute eintreten, aber dadurch zugleich zeigen, selbst keinesfalls einer von "diesen Leuten" zu sein. Anders gesagt - woher wissen eigentliche jene, die nicht eine/r von "diesen Leuten" sind, was "diese Leute" wollen... könnte es nicht sein, dass "diese Leute" einfach nur ganz normal leben wollen? Und das heißt im Alltagsleben nicht diskriminiert zu werden und nicht bloß dann geschützt zu sein, wenn sie umringt von Polizeieskorten unter der Regenbogenflagge feiern und sich präsentieren sollen (!) ...? Einer berühmter Künstler der, selbst gleichgeschlechtlich ausgerichtet, in einer Zeit ,als man dafür noch ganz schnell inhaftiert wurde, für die Rechte gleichgeschlechtlich liebender Menschen eintrat, äußerte treffend, dass nichts gefährlicher ist, als von scheinbar liberalen Helfern herausgestellt zu werden. Denn jene, die neuerdings predigen zu helfen und dazu ermutigen ins Licht zu treten, obschon sie gestern noch die Verfolger waren, stehen selbst nicht im Licht, fordern aber dazu auf. Künftig - wenn die Zeiten umschlagen - wird es kein Entkommen mehr geben, weil sich alle fröhlich im Licht offenbart haben. ohne zu wissen, dass sie von Schatten umgeben sind. Übrigens... woher weiß man, ob der Verfasser nicht selbst einer jener Leute ist ? Wenn dem so wäre - müsste er sich dann von "den anderen" helfen lassen, obwohl er vielleicht die Distanz oder auch die Nicht-Herausstellung bevorzugt, weil er hierdurch öffentlich auf ein Merkmal reduziert würde? Weil er vielleicht nicht gerne zum Objekt aufgedrängter Hilfe von Gutmenschen werden will, denen es zuvorderst um die Bestätigung der eigenen moralischen Größe geht? Merke: Die meisten Mensch mit einer Behinderung brauchen zwar ausgleichende Maßnahmen, damit Ihre gesellschaftliche Teilhabe bestmögliche Verwirklichung erfahren kann - sie wollen aber ebengerade KEINE hervorgehobene, Mitleid suggerierende Herausstellung. Wie man sieht - einseitig sollte man NICHTS betrachten. Denn jede gesellschaftlich vorgeschriebene Denkweise fördert eine Entwicklung hin zur Uniformität - und diese "führte" geschichtlich stets an einen sehr dunklen Ort, der nie wieder betreten werden darf. Zusammengefasst: Es ging beileibe nicht darum, in primitiver Macho-Manier Filme mit starken Frauen zu diffamieren. Ich sage nur: ALIEN. Aber es geht darum, dass es in einer freien Welt keine PFLICHT geben darf, Filme nur noch nach diesem Schema machen zu dürfen... Und schließlich - schon der Hint in Richtung China sagt einiges aus - denn dort ist die soziale Kontrolldiktatur weit fortgeschritten - und zwar nur "zum Besten" der Menschen... • Und jetzt zurück zu den hier wichtigen Dingen... Wann nochmal genau vor dem Mittagessen sagte Nils, dass er uns unbedingt darbieten wollte?

Hollywood (und eigentlich der Rest der Welt) üben eben vorauseilenden Gehorsam um jeden Preis... oder besser gesagt zur Vermeidung jeglicher Schadensersatzklage Fehlt eigentlich nur noch folgendes Remake: 'QUEEN KONG und der Schwarze Mann' Das nur mutmaßliche Opfer (alles wird noch gut!) gespielt von einem unbedingt pan-sexuellen, muslimischen Juden mit christlich-buddhistischen Wurzeln, der in Hindu-Tradition dem Nihilismus anhängt und der durch seine anticharismatisch-vegane Schlaftabletten-Mentalität*** die Riesenäffin vermittels einer selbstlosen Geschlechtsumwandlung zum Gewaltverzicht animiert - steht dem gemeinsamen Liebesglück dann schließlich steht nicht mehr im Weg, weil unser woker Hauptdarsteller mit vollzogener Öffnung seines Selbst für den in ihm schlummernden, goldenen Kern weiblicher Empathie erkannt hat ,dass seine behaarte Herzensdame gleichgeschlechtlich ausgerichtet ist und diese - nunmehr glückselig - dem bislang, allein aus schierer Verzweiflung ob des Fehlens echter Selbstverwirklichung betriebenen Hobbys des Fassaden-Kletterns ein für alle mal abschwört... Hieraufhin entfällt der Showdown, der Affe bleibt am Boden und Blufans kann den Film in China mit Discs veröffentlichen, weil mangels Szenen in Hochhaushöhe die Freiheitsstatue nicht im Hintergrund auftaucht ! Na, wenn das mal kein Happyend ist ? 🙃 ____________________________________________ P.S.: *** Sollten sich nicht genannte ethnische, soziale, rassische oder sonstige Gruppen bzw. Minderheiten in der Figur nicht hinreichend verwirklicht wiederfinden, wird auf die sicherlich erfolgende Fortsetzung "Indiana Jones und der Rückbau aller Wolkenkratzer" verwiesen 😎

Well buddy - In addition to what @ukade2327 and @Gary K commented -fundamentally it can be stated, that the movie is theatrical and highly stylized (and uses a rich color palette - therefore I highly recommend to watch it in 4K UHD - especially as both the picture and newly mixed Dolby Atmos track on that disc provide an overall satisfying presentation). Despite the Gore scenes it is a legendary peace of cinematic art that stands for itself and nearly invented a complete Genre. As pointed out before, the score is very intense and the main theme, which conveys a sense of secrecy, accompanies the viewer through atmospheric scenes that, apart from the giallo effects, create a constant intellectual discomfort that only dissolves in the final sequence. To conclude, you could get something out of the film - and in view of the fact that this is probably one of the first films to play with "girl power" - because there are many strong women - it could, in this respect, even be suitable for a (little horrifying) TV evening with your wife... 😎 As for the great actress Joan Benett, nothing needs to be added. She was a real artist who was not appreciated by the legendary director Fritz Lang for nothing.

Finally as promised, pictures of a VERY SPECIAL EDITION I was finally able to secure for my shelf ! It's not about the goodies... (because it only contains a small booklet about the movie and its origins) It is neither a Steelbook... (only a Metal Case - namely a FuturePak) Nor is there any kind of Slip for this Edition... (and certainly no lenticular) Also the back is just - let's say - ok. But the front ... (Unlike Steelbooks, a metal case's embossing options are less limited by design, and this edition is one of those few future packs that are exceptionally crafted). • It is an Edition of the retailer that was realized by crowd funding and contains the stylized horror masterpiece SUSPIRIA (1977) from Dario Argento. The Metal Case was crafted by INDIEGOGO to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the movie. Only 950 units of this Beauty were made. Excuse me for presenting the front from different angles - but this is the only way that the various reflections of the surface can be presented adequately... And now it's showtime and I hope You and Your eyes enjoy ! • D A R I O A R G E N T O S U S P I R I A FuturePak Let's start with the unspectacular interior... The back of the Metal Case is, well, quite nice... But now the amazing Front in it's full glory: Simply fantastic, isn't it? • But that's not all... Another rare metal case has just arrived - along with an also rare Anniversary Edition Digipack of the same Movie... And this calls for another special with all editions of this masterpiece I have gathered untill now.
